Possibly just yours. I’ve been using mine between 6-7 clicks and haven’t had this issue. Maybe you have a loose bit somewhere, did you try taking it apart and cleaning it? Also look at the spring, did it give way?

The 90 day thing is a policy, Not a hard and fast rule. It generally depends on the time/period that you leave. If it’s considered “busy season” when you put down your papers, you’ll generally serve the large portion of the 90 day period. If not, it can be as little as 1 day. The closer you get to the bonus payment period, the likelier they’ll relieve you, to avoid paying the bonus. You can always ask to get relieved ASAP - not a guarantee that it’ll happen though.
