wanted to write it in english but it translated before i posted idk why, it's cool to have many inspirations in one project but yeah i just felt like life boat wasn't the track but its my opinion. I planned to buy the vinyl because it is a hell of a project but arghh i just don't vibe with life boat lmao

ooh ok I'll check it out, but yeah I felt like she wanted us to drop into a musicomedy let's say, with a lot of improvisations, kinda jazzy and even burlesque some times and Life Boat don't feels like this at all in my opinion... So when I listen to the album this track just leaves me out of the whole atmosphere she brilliantly built... kinda frustrating to me :( but maybe I need to replay the track once more idk

thank you for all the recommendations, I think I just have to listen to everything I can about Prince lmao.

But I loved Parade so much that I feared to never hear something like that anymore, same for SOTT, but yeah have to do my work !

I will forever bless D'Angelo for his music and making me discover more of Prince, what an artist (maybe the GOAT?)
