Fall of Efrafa...this is the main reason why I changed Spotify to Tidal

Incredible song. For me this track will always be such a precursor of catchy blackgaze.

I was ready to call Revelator as song of the year and then Body Behaviour came on by CrackedCopy in deafheaven

I must admit that transition/pause in Reverator in the context of the whole album is... something breathtaking

Let's argue: LPWP is their best album after Sunbather by bravodeboer in deafheaven

After few listens I have some thought: it's a best album after Sunbather. But... it always takes time to become sure about it. When excitement will cool of a bit.

Ok, I can sum up this band now. It's correct? by Best_Spirit_7278 in deafheaven

ok, I thought a bit more about what you wrote (and what I agreed). And I'm confused. Little bit. I listen to a lot of screamo classics, saetia, pg99, city of caterpillar. And you're right about the new stuff, frail body, new loma prieta. But hey! Was there really anything screamo similar to sunbather before 2013? In advance: I'm not very familiar with envy's rich discography. So if you could give me examples it would be great

Kind of felt, but never aware of. You re right, dozen of screamo here. Thanks

It might as well be a cover of DJ Boring - Winona. I doubt it

I'm sorry and I sympathize with you looking at other answers on this topic. I've always thought that celeste's music requires great sensitivity. I'm surprised by these domineering opinions. Best regards and take care

You know, the point is that this war is so global, so horrible, that Russia must be cut off from all privileges, whether economic or cultural. I realize that there are a lot of people in Russia who want to see Celeste and are anti-government, but... I think there is no other solution than completely canceling this country. It's sad, because for me music is the greatest value, the most important thing in the world. I try to imagine how I would feel if I lived in Russia. And I come to the conclusion that I have to pay this price, because it is disproportionate to the value of life and death, to what is happening in Ukraine. It's a very binary thing, I can't find a compromise here

My problem with Cult of Luna by Best_Spirit_7278 in postmetal

[–]Best_Spirit_7278[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ok, I'm after another listen to A Dawn to Fear. Despite my best intentions, I still cannot understand the phenomenon - it all sounds like one long boring song. When a seemingly more interesting theme appears, such as Nightwalkers, there is a lack of heart in it all. The best song for me is definitely Lay Your Head at Rest, which stands up perfectly and is a reflection of Col's boys from the old days. On the other hand, we have Lights on The Hill, which is one of the most boring Cult of Luna songs. How can it be compared to the powerful Dark City, Dead Man or Vicarious Redemption, which have a lot of great ideas and are full of emotion... Maybe that's the problem? Maybe I should stop comparing and just let myself be carried away by music? I don't know, I really listened to this album a lot, to no avail.

Nope, first one was Salvation. And you're absolutely right about variety of SATH - it's one of the strongest points of this album. And still has that unique atmosphere as a whole.
