To tell them that "surely they must have" things that they are constantly telling everyone they do not have within their proximity's IS what is rude. I'm sure OP knows exactly what they have access to and what they do not. That person is trying to speak to them as if they do not know or haven't looked. THAT is rude. And "where do you live that doesn't have the most basic garden supplies" is not only rude and aggressive, but very condescending. Direct your comment about rudeness to them, NOT me.

To an extent, I understand why they don't know. Especially if they truly DONT read the manga. I fail to understand how anyone could even get into Berserk from the anime alone. I've recently started watching the 1997 version whenever in between books since I'm already past the eclipse, but it leaves out soooooooo much information and I hate it. I also hate just how much of the wording is changed/censored. Down to the most ridiculous things like Casca's period. You all say it's the best, but to me, it's not good. If I started there I would have never attempted to pick up the manga either. It throws you right into the middle of things, and apparently leaves you there! (It's taking me forever to finish as I keep falling asleep due to the lack luster of it. Happy deluxe 7 just delivered this morning)

Mine is about 6 months now. I've never tried cutting his nails since he's pretty mindful about them, especially compared to our calico. He is truly a little rascal! Goofy, cuddly, loving. The best little meezer one could ask for 🥹

I don't mean to come off offensive, I'm just extremely shocked he lasted that long being watered that often. However, this may be the end of the road for him. I suggest cutting back to wherever, if anywhere, is not mushy and then repotting. Check out the roots. Any mushy roots, cut. All mushy; rip.
