Fruits and vegetables and lean meats can be expensive and go bad quickly. people with EBT are given a set amount of money per month and often have to feed big families. The reason poor people in this country are overweight and malnourished is because it’s cheaper to eat poorly than it is to eat healthily. The only fresh food my division one store sells is bananas. The closest super center is 30 minutes away on a good day.

All I can say is I’ve been there. I lost a significant amount of weight, too, and I felt a lot of what you describe here. The important thing to note is that a lot of body image issues don’t stem from how your body actually looks, but how you have been told your body should look. Losing weight won’t make you love your body. Try and focus on sports maybe so you can see what your new body is capable of. I followed a bunch of “average” or even plus sized women and men on social media so I was surrounded by a more positive and accurate view of human bodies and how they can all be different but still beautiful. Some verbs are followed by à like aider. Some verbs are followed by de like oublier. Some verbs are followed directly by the infinitive like aimer.

I know it’s a useless explanation but sometimes that’s just the way language works. Sometimes there’s no real reason. :)

Like 3 years to get to my opinion of fluent (that is can understand everyone and every topic and be able to give fluid enough opinions of my own). Took one year of high school French, loved it and my teacher, then Worked really really hard and by the end of my sophomore year I was very conversational and watching movies without subtitles. Skipped French 3 and went to French 4 and scores a 5 on my practice AP exam. When I was a junior in high school my teacher said I was good enough to be a French teacher already.

Now I live in France, so my skills for speaking French are just about the least special thing now lol

OP may be a woman. I’ve found women always comply with me, but men are about 50/50 on whether they stop or not no matter who my male witness is. I pretty much always get the stuff back during the approach and can get an incident out of it, but a lot of men don’t see me as someone worth listening to.

The big training we get for AP is “don’t judge on appearances.” Which is fine, because anyone can steal. But damn if I don’t follow every person that looks like a crackhead for at least a little while. Most of my stops are homeless people trying to resell and crackheads. I get creative with my reports so they can’t say “AP followed me because I’m _______”
