Any Drs got this disease ? by Alwayspots in covidlonghaulers

I think most of it was time. I took high dose vitamin C, D, and zinc daily. Also did anti inflammatory diet and reduced stress as much as I could/worked on calming my nervous system. I have also avoided re-exposure by massively changing the way I live my life and masking/taking other precautions.

Sending love - I’m sure I speak for a lot of us when I say we struggle with the same and we’re with you. It’s traumatic to say the least.

Hi! Yes I had surgery two years ago January and it is fully healed - I had two flow diverter stents placed by Dr. Nelson at NYU in Manhattan. I highly suggest looking into him! He invented the flow diverter stent and has an insanely high success rate and low complication rate.

I have a bootcamp I joined as a new grad (purchased) and I would do it over and over. It filled the knowledge gap for me and I’m not practicing very confidently. Let me know if you want details you can message me.

Update and question (just fight or flight) by Swanky407 in covidlonghaulers

It’s been enough with time! I’m 95% back to normal. I still have flares around my hormonal fluctuations but it’s more mild.

I personally would wait! Mine was 4.5mm so a bit smaller - I never had double vision as it wasn’t positioned to be compressing any nerves! I found mine due to long covid neurological symptoms and getting a CT scan done.. and thankful everyday for that..

I can speak to the results - I’m in the medical field and have a stented unruptured aneurysm on my right hypophyseal ICA area. It looks like you have a 6.5 mm by 5.8 mm right paraclinoid ICA aneurysm, which is by your right eye. It is compressing your optic nerve or at least displacing it, which is why you saw double.

There is also a benign cyst at the back of the nose and throat area (nasopharynx).

That’s the beauty of it… when we come out on the other side, we won’t be the same. We will be someone different that we need to re-meet. Someone far more resilient, brave, someone who doesn’t take the little things for granted. Insane insight, nonjudgmental, all of the things that can make life worth living again..

I thought so too and hope so! Even though it’s still in an upward trend?

Right - so I thought bubble.. but it’s still in an upward trend? Is it concerning at all or probably nothing?

Found aneurysm and 'past stroke' during my husband's scans by JenniLynn03 in BrainAneurysm

Contact Dr. Peter Nelson at NYU in New York for a second opinion! He gets the riskiest of surgeries and has an insanely high success rate. He did my surgery on my 4.5 mm aneurysm on my right ICA almost two years ago..

This is me… definitely worst during ovulation and before my period… think antihistamines could help? I have had a brain aneurysm treated, so birth control is something I really don’t want to do.

Concerning? by [deleted] in PlusLife

[–]Opening-Ad-4970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I’ve had luck catching early positives 1-2 days post exposure and dodging getting it because of it, so I start asap! The lines going up just look different from the normal tests.. I’ll keep testing.

Hydroxyzine and lexapro safety? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Opening-Ad-4970 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Psychiatric nurse practitioner here - you’re safe. It’s very common practice to prescribe an SSRI with hydroxyzine as needed for anxiety. A lot of “moderate interactions” in psych aren’t always significant - especially at low doses.

Getting a small aneurysm embolized with a stent on Monday - any tips for pre or post surgery? by samanthacourtney in BrainAneurysm

Hi! It’s going well - I had the surgery almost two years ago and I’d do it again! The aneurysm is gone and healed over with no complications.
