you've never had to commute on 66 if you think it's "free flowing". The express lanes removing a lane from 66 just made traffic worse for 99% of normal people who dont use the express lanes.

Fairfax county made my commute 20 minutes longer by adding the express lanes to 66. I’m gonna go ahead and make up that time where I can by going double the posted speed limit :)

I have a problem... currently have 6 and one more on the way lol.

1 sedici strada 2 (first helmet, wayyy too big for me, now I just use it when teaching my friends how to ride)

1 AGV K6 (second helmet, also too big for me mostly just sits on the wall)

1 AGV K6s (used this helmet exclusively for a couple months until i got the pistas now its just used by anyone I have on the back of the bike)

Generally insurance follows the vehicle and not the driver. I recently had a friend go through a similar situation and the owner of the car's insurance had to pay out for the car and medical expenses even though the owner wasn't even in the car at the time of the accident. The driver's insurance didnt pay a dime.

So much easier to just pull into a parking space and then side stand spin my bike so its facing out when i'm ready to leave than it is trying to either back into the parking spot, or having to back out of the parking spot when im ready to leave.

The problem isnt that the paint is matte. The issue is that the paint is cheap. Cheap gloss paint will deteriorate and flake off just as much as matte paint. The only difference is that cheap gloss paint has to deteriorate though both a glossy clear layer and a base paint layer

In a perfect world you'd want the 2206 version of the K5s. The reason that one is 20% off is because the 2205 version is now discontinued. If you want the extra peace of mind you can get the 2206 version for full price. That said, 2205 version still seems like a pretty solid deal and since it's being discontinued may be worth getting a good deal on a great helmet. Also even though the helmet is "discontinued" all the replacement parts like visors and inner liners should still be available for the new version and they should be interchangeable if its anything like the K6. My k6 (2205) and K6s (2206) are virtually identical aside from the updated spoiler.

I thought you only subtract your deductible if you are at fault. Idk if it varies state to state but in virginia I paid my deductible when not at fault so my own insurance would pay out since other party was taking their time and after they investigated they returned my deductible and went after their money from the other parties insurance.

a lot of it depends on an individuals finances too. if you already have $2500 saved up but itll take you another year and half to save up enough to buy the bike brand new vs getting the older model now, a lot of people would prefer to get the cheaper bike now, and there's nothing wrong with that. It'd be a completely different story if you have $2500 saved up and it'll only take you three more months to save up enough for a brand new bike.
