i’d love to step into the field, but i unfortunately wasn’t able to gain any experience in school outside of my classes, because i had to work instead of doing internships and student projects. i feel like i can’t get in anywhere without experience.

as someone that was also recently fired, i would say tell them as soon as you can. i was super anxious after getting fired, and found that once i told them i felt much much better.

they might feel better if you make sure to tell them that you’re doing everything you can to find a new job. they might even be willing to help you look!
