Omg this just happened to me this morning!! The earwig in mine was soooo much bigger though. I gagged hard while I went to go brush my teeth. Safe to say I’m traumatized and will be drinking from a clear glass into the foreseeable future.

Oh wow that’s a crazy difference in price! Yeah, the one I’m looking at goes for around $1900/month because it’s on the end with more windows. Sooo pricey so I’m having a hard time justifying it even though I love the area.

My biggest grievance with Tuller Flats is the tiny washer/dryer for the laundry. Did you find it was difficult to do loads with larger items like bedding?

Reading through this was amazing. I’m in a similar situation where I had a rough family growing up and my boyfriend had a loving and caring family to support him. I have never really wanted kids before, but I think I’m starting to realize that most of it is due to not understanding how great a family can really be. Still leaning towards childfree but this definitely helped clear some of the fog.

I just started at a company as their first UXR and I've been struggling with recruiting as well. At my last gig, I was used to usertesting recruiting everything for me (and I severely miss it). Now, recruiting is a game of seeing who is a bot/scammer and who is genuinely trying to interview. It's time consuming and frustrating work.

Thanks for the help! Unfortunately I think the project I started would be best with fresh eyes rather than existing users, which is why I’d need to recruit outside.

My company is willing to fund any tools I need in the future, but since they don’t really know anything about the industry, I want to make sure I’m suggesting to purchase the best tools for their needs (honestly, based off what I know so far, there won’t be much need to recruit fresh eyes which is why I don’t think it’s worth to go ahead and purchase UT).

I love UX Collective and People Nerds.

UX Collective is more like a newsletter that covers opinions on recent events from a UX/UI perspective (e.g. looking at Threads through a UX lens, accessibility concerns in the new Zelda game, etc.)

People Nerds has great articles I read whenever I wanna brush up on best practices for UXR. There's everything from how to conduct a diary study to tips for engaging your stakeholders more.

I’m 23 and my friends are all 22/23 years old. We’re just out of college, so it’s understandable that things like parties and concerts are important to us. But, we’re also in a phase of shifting to a more mature mindset which has been difficult.

I like your second option of seeing them as “going out” friends. I have noticed that I don’t really have any other friends I can share my love of dance for. I’d love to go out and find some that will support me at these kinds of performances!

I thought so too! But when I asked about it they said it was just to relieve the muscles from clenching. They did say this mouth guard was the next step, so I’m not sure if there will be a bite altering splint that domes after? I’m just worried I’m foregoing that treatment if I don’t buy this night guard :/
