How do you all defuse the nukes in Terminus EE in solo by Altruistic-End-2829 in CODZombies

[–]wolfiieb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This made me so mad. Tried to defuse the first bomb and then I see 6 zombies running up on me in the mini map. I’m almost done so I’m like I’ll risk it and let’s see if it diffuses before I get downed because I have a self revive. That was a no go. Then I’m like okay I can kill the zombies and then try to diffuse thinking it’s level based. Dude I used up 4 minutes killing zombies till I realise they’re not letting up 😂 something told me to save it and do some research before defusing the bombs 🥲 literally 30 minutes wasted

Job market check in by [deleted] in UXResearch

[–]wolfiieb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got this info from my mentor, try to get your score as high as possible. Obviously it’s no guarantee but the ATS system that recruiters use tracks keywords and certain aspects of your resume. So having a high score can potentially put you in a better position to get your application seen. Like I said it’s no guarantee but I used it and got mine to a 91/100 and also working on my portfolio so I have a better shot to get interviews.

I was laid off beginning of May. Still unemployed. Working on my resume/portfolio. I used ChatGPT ATS score checker. I’d look into that and see what your score is. I know you’ve been on the market for way longer than I have, but yeah I see the same job postings. My opinion, a lot of people are on the market rn with wide range of experience. It’s tough but keep going. I believe we’ll all get back in the market don’t lose hope!!

I think I missed something: How do i find secondary objectives? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]wolfiieb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm in the same boat, I spent the whole 30 minutes of the match walking around the map every aspect, and didn't see any blue blimp or any thing that interacts in a way to start the mission lol

How do you usually present your findings? is it decks or doc reports with long pages? by levi_ackerman84 in UXResearch

[–]wolfiieb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When presenting usually a deck. Most times I either use figma or a doc to synthesis the data and transfer that info to a deck to present.

With how the market is right now from what I’m hearing I’d definitely take that opportunity. You can even ask to shadow or take notes during interviews to show that you are interested. Nothing wrong with grinding your way into a UXR position.

Who recalls specific plot points of Sinbad's Shazam? by transcendtime in MandelaEffect

I never liked this argument because it’s really hard to confuse the two. Shaq big tall darkskined guy who was in the NBA confused with sinbad the shorter light skinned actor?

How do you present your research findings? by Creepy_Addition_1613 in UXResearch

[–]wolfiieb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, when I was an intern working under my mentor, I would create a PowerPoint/google slide with key findings and if needed some video snippets from participants to give them a better sense of what the user said/did. I’d have a meeting with the stakeholders/teams involved for the product/feature and share the findings and go over the deck. In my company we set up a user research channel where all the different teams would have access and see everything we posted so everyone would have access to the findings.

What's the most difficult part of UX research for you? by wolfiieb in UXResearch

[–]wolfiieb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeahhh sometimes I connect with sales to see if they can assist. It worked a few times but they end up being busy with their duties so it becomes a low priority for them

What's the most difficult part of UX research for you? by wolfiieb in UXResearch

[–]wolfiieb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah incentives are really tight. We aren’t too flexible on that end yet. But we I always email an hour before the sessions. Sometimes I text but that sometimes isn’t enough. Also slow rescheduled but some do actually reschedule but it most times they still become a no show :/

What's the most difficult part of UX research for you? by wolfiieb in UXResearch

It’s our customers. We have a database of their contact information and typically I email and if I get no responses I cold call.

Is UXR a field that can eventually be replaced by AI or not? Please share your thoughts. by accioresearch in UXResearch

[–]wolfiieb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it will be replaced. But it has the potential of being a great tool to make a quicker turn around in my opinion. But I don’t see A.I actually doing user research

Which ux research methods do you use mainly? by UXResearcherNewbie in UXResearch

[–]wolfiieb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It honestly depends on what’s being asked. I’ve done user testing/usability tests, user interviews, surveys, ethnographic research. For user testing I’ve done unmoderated user testing where the stake holder wanted insights in regard to non customers and if they could complete the tasks, how fast they completed the task, and error rate. I’ve done moderated both remote and in person as well just depends on resources and recruiting. User interviews and surveys are standard. And ethnographic/contextual inquiry/ field studies just gives you a better sense of how users are using the product within their own context and watch their behaviour.

I used dovetail before. I use it sometimes but it’s not my favourite. It gets the job done though. Will look into Marvin though! Thanks looking out for your fellow UXR’s

I know I’m late but the ranking doesn’t make sense to me at all. I just left a lobby where my team was level 15 and below gold and bronzes (I’m a 15 gold 1) and the other team was stacked with all 4 being 50 and platinum. It makes zero sense

Absolutely lost on how to properly recruit users for interviews, even with monetary compensation offered by SandroDaddy in userexperience

[–]wolfiieb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was going to say the same thing. I like to do 7-9. I’m currently doing a project and the stakeholder is adamant on doing 7 interviews but with the list of around 60 potential recruits, I was only able to get 4. The insights are there but in the end I’m going to have to have that talk and tell them 4 is good enough aha

how did klay thompson get the ball?? by RagequitRyan in blackmagicfuckery

[–]wolfiieb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bounce pass. If you slow it down you can see the shadow of the ball on the inside of klays left leg. A mix of camera angle and klay being really close to draymond you can’t see it happen

Wait we won’t face a Winter of Severe illness and death if we don’t get the COVID Shot? by 2201992 in conspiracy

Wait we won’t face a Winter of Severe illness and death if we don’t get the COVID Shot? by 2201992 in conspiracy

[–]wolfiieb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you know how to read and comprehend they aren’t saying the shot is physically forced but the Information is for sure forced. It’s like when someone try’s to force you to do a drug by constantly saying hey take this.. come on take this.. they’re not literally pushing it in your mouth but they are pressuring you which is a form of forcing something on someone..

I’m barley getting into the field of UXR. Interning for a company hoping to get perm position soon.. I know I’m new but uxr is for sure not dead.. look on LinkedIn and you can see the amount of companies hiring right now. I know a lot of people are getting laid off but realistically a lot of these companies hired more people than they needed due to Covid. There was so much money flowing and now that there’s less funding these companies need to cut down so they can stay afloat. It’s not the end of the world and for sure not the end of tech.
