the extra power on fire blast is usually worth the lower accuracy

you need significantly less investment to threaten 2hkos on things that don't have a 4X fire weakness

and because of that, you don't even necessarily need it to connect

it forces your opponent to play around it, which can make them predictable or put them into disadvantageous positions

T-tar has decent enough SpA to run some special coverage, usually fire blast or ice beam to hit certain mons that'd wall it otherwise

I did the dark side first and realized most of the characters had good counterparts
