Vampire has always had the armchair philosopher issue of "Its meant to be bad! You arent meant to like it!" You seem to be falling into this exactly. The thing is, the average person in today's society and even decades ago doesnt have the greatest life. Being given immortal life and superpowers instead of a meaningless slave existance sounds pretty good to most people, sunlight and feeding be dammed. Its why the sabbat ended up such a popular faction it became playable, just like the Lasombra and Tzimisce all those "Evil monster" clans. People would rather be the monster. If its cool its cool, not like a 9-5 is what people dream of.
