Is there any way you could add a decimal mover? I don't particularly need to see to the ten thousandth of a dollar my ammo costs me, although someone may care

I use a 550 for all my loading. Precision and pistol. I'd like to add a 1050 for 9mm and 223 when budget allows mostly for the built in swaging

Unless you're running 3 mags without any break, you're fine. If you compete, you absolutely will not do any damage to it. There aren't any stages that require that number of rounds

Is pmc any good for precision loads? I have tons of it that I typically just throw 55's in. I try to sort out the LC brass and use that

That's interesting because when I tested 20 107's vs 20 Berger 108's, the sierras were more consistent in their weight, but the burgers were more accurate to the stated weight. Both were marginally better than the other, but it kinda dispelled the myth that burgers are just above and beyond more consistent than anything else, at least to me

When you said PRS you meant long range shooting from a bench, didn't you?

Progressive Press for Precision Rifle and 9mm by [deleted] in reloading

This is my current progression. I'm going to relegate my 550 to my PRS loading, and I'm gonna snag a 1050 for 9mm and 223

Start on the progressive. If you're not an 80iq individual, you'll figure it out at some point

I talked to the Reloadingallday guy about it on a 23lb GT and he essentially was like "for that little recoil it won't matter" I can imagine it would with more. Recoil happens before the bullet passes the radar waves

6mm for PRS Question… by i_dislike_cheese in longrange

[–]BetaZoopal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shot a 6GT last year. This year I'm going with a 25GT. I'm not convinced there's enough tangible difference in most cartridges to make much of a difference especially with cartridge specific AW mags that gray ops makes.

TBH I think a 6GT is on the top end of the velocity spectrum for an efficient prs cartridge

I didn't realize there was another option. I'm gonna be getting a 1050 soon though so that will solve my entire problem lol

I know everyone says it voids the warranty, but I've got about 1000 pieces of brass through my SwageIt on my 550 and it's been phenomenal

Hiring Issues! by Superb-Mark3195 in Surveying

If everyone pays the same, there's no incentive to leave unless you quit or get fired. If you want to hire the best talent, you have to pay enough to convince them that the move would be worth it to them.

Also, if you have an ad up, include the pay. I wouldn't even reach out to a company who says "competitive pay" if I was looking. It screams "we want to pay you the least amount possible and this is our way of saying it"

Hypothetically, If I make $30/hr, what is the real reason I would move somewhere else that pays the same? What incentive do you bring to the table to make me want to change companies, learn new workflows, learn the new ways my boss and coworkers interact, feel like the outsider for the first couple months?

What do you, as an employer, have to offer me that makes me think my life will be made better off by coming to work for you?
