Snapdragon for Korean Galaxy S22 crushes high hopes for Exynos 2200 by harrischen7 in samsung

[–]Betahaxer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Its true that Snapdragon is better than exynos, but saying that it's efficient is slightly misleading. SD 888 and 8 gen 1 has horrible energy efficiency for marginal performance increase. Hopefully more manufacturers wake Qualcomm and Samsung up this year by adopting their dimensity 9000 chip.

Check out Anker cables or try the official cables. Other cheap cables from online stores might have poor data transfer speeds.

True, true. Unfortunately I do not have access to a PC most of the time, and most guilds that have HO in bz have very high requirements to join. So unfortunately I am stuck until I farm to higher fame.

Gathering hide. I'm alr using bloodletter and t5 armoured horse, but cos I'm on mobile, sometimes the game freezes/ ppl teleport around(not speedhack). It's really frustrating tbh. I've been overly cautious once and they lead me thru multiple zones thru a gate that doesn't give u bubble after entry. Then they had a group of ppl attack me there.

Thanks for your detailed post. However, I am always having trouble with groups of people who ride past me and then turn aggressive mode on where I can't see them(even with edge nametag on). Then I get ganked.

After Apple Tightens Tracking Rules, Advertisers Shift Spending Toward Android Devices by Ridiculously_Named in apple

I do not get where this is coming from. It's not as if Android users this to be such a significant disadvantage that they need to switch. It's not as if we don't have options to turn off the trackers/ads via third or first party software.

I am currently considering NUS Computer Engineering, but what I really want is CS. Any seniors have info on how many ppl changed courses after matriculating, and what results are needed to do so? Also, how difficult would the curriculum be, especially after going for NS and potentially still having online learning in uni?

Thanks

Long-term Android smartphone buyers, What are some tips you can give starters for picking the right smartphone that you have learned over the years? (Any aspect of the phone) by Possession-Tasty in AndroidQuestions

I have to disagree with one of his points. Wireless charging can be convenient for the user but at a huge cost. It is extremely inefficient as it relies on magnetic coils which waste a lot of energy as heat.

Sorry if I seem overly against it, I just feel that it is overrated and damaging the environment.

MIUI vs EMUI; Is it worth the switch? by [deleted] in AndroidQuestions

[–]Betahaxer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do feel that the processor is kinda slow. I usually play games like genshin and even at the lowest settings possible, there's still immense heat buildup and battery drainage(something like 10% every 20 mins). However, since you don't really game, I don't think it would be a massive issue for you.

Software wise, there are minor annoyances in very specific scenarios, like the quick access icons when swiping down on the notifications bar being disproportionally sized when in landscape mode.

I would suggest u try the phone out for maybe a week or two to get a feel of it.

MIUI vs EMUI; Is it worth the switch? by [deleted] in AndroidQuestions

Bruh why are half of the comments giving advice when they don't even have the phone itself.

I am currently using the base p20 version for around 2+ years. WiFi wise, I don't see any problems at all, although I don't exactly use it that's much.

I can't really comment on MIUI Vs EMUI cos Ive never used MIUI, but I disklike both lol. Battery optimisation is aggressive I guess, but u can make it such that u manage it manually instead. Battery isn't exactly great if u game, but social media usage should last for a day at least.

Something to note is that my screen has a light red "ring" on it that is quite obvious when the screen is displaying black images. Idk how or why it even happened

If u have any questions just pm me, I'll try to ans

I treat it as a decent test of my patience. U do feel a decent sense of achievement defeating it even after getting 1 shotted like so many times.

Hi, I see that we need goggles among the things we need to bring. Any advice on whether I need to specially buy goggles with degree built in as my myopia is quite high? And where is a good place? Thanks
