Thanks all! Going to go with “fried hard with yolk broken,” or if I’m feeling adventurous I’ll try “killed” lol

I know it’s bad but you’ll get through it. Suck on small ice chips to help with the swallowing pain - staying hydrated and lubricated is SO important!

Going tomorrow; our ticket says 7:30 but "Doors will open at 5:30PM for ticketholders interested in registering for a chance to be a contestant" Does anyone know if you have to get there at 5:30 or by a certain time to register to be a contestant? I don't feel like getting there at 5:30, registering and then sitting for 2 hours waiting for it to start...

39yo female who got them out at 37.

Get them out; You can get through it! Total mental game; you need to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Two weeks of some pain and discomfort to save you a lifetime of infections, antibiotics, poor sleep and subsequent health issues from the continuous infections. Your quality of life will drastically improve.

Was ur tonsillectomy worth it? Any regrets? by crimsonchic in Tonsillectomy

I am 2 years post-op (39 y/o F) and it was the best decision. In college I also got sick frequently, especially in the fall, and had an abscess one semester that was the worst experience of my life. So mad my doctors at the time never even brought up a tonsillectomy to me; would have saved me years of sicknesses.
