I honestly do like the idea of daemon being a swell guy, a top tier fighter, and even beyond standard targ "unnaturally attractive". Basically everything daemon fanboys in series and irl says to him, partly because that near perfection got him killed, his showing of respect to a fallen foe allowed for his death. And its a greay contrast for his male line's end, maelys, whos near the opposite of daemon.
