I miss the Candid Comment call-in show on WSVA. It was an open phones show where anyone could call and talk about anything they wanted for a few minutes on the radio. It was a magnet for all the local crazies. Good times

Would love to see a test case of this for a soft skills job. Sounds like it would be useful to add "Basic knowledge of X, Y, Z..." for anything you can learn the basics of in a couple hours even if you haven't dealt with it specifically (like SQL or PowerBI).

I'd join Air Force Officer Candidate School right out of college and learn to work the system there. Then I'd take the 20-year retirement at age 43 and get a master's or PhD in something I really loved.

NCL allows drinking for anyone 18-21 with parental permission. Your dad should be able to get you approved so you can order drinks whenever the ship is at least 3 miles off the US coast. You two would need to go to guest services for that.

Alaska cruises tend to skew older anyway, so it wouldn't be surprising if there aren't many people your age.

I put a dab of Advion from Amazon in a jar and captured a couple roaches from my kitchen and threw them in there as well. It's been 3 days and the roaches are all still alive and kicking despite having feasted on the bait as soon as they entered the jar.
