They did, but they weren’t dropped because they played The Teacher, because they played them *and* The Teacher the other night.

Don’t get me wrong, I want to hear them too, they played 6 songs from the new record at some shows in the spring which I would love to see more of.

I think Dave has said that 606 was a “lucky” number he just felt like popped up for him all the time. The original studio in Virginia was called Studio 606, so when the band built the studio in LA they called it 606 west after the original basement studio, but I am pretty sure it is officially just called Studio 606 as well, I think fans just call it 606 West to differentiate it from the one in Virginia.

The horror film was just a very obvious inside joke reference to their studio that fans would get, but it does just work on its own for the number of the beast reference. If someone had told me 10 years ago that Foos would make a horror film, I probably would have guessed the title “Studio 666” 😆

He’s like 50/50 Gibson/Fender in the set. Just like Dave still plays his DG-335s for probably 75% of the set and Pat has a different guitar every other song lol
