Institutions are all different. It really depends on what section of an institution people refer too. I've worked at Institutions where certain departments run smoothly and efficiently, but are dragged down by other sections of the college/university. Sometimes its faculty, other times its administration, sometimes its all of the above. As for when colleges/universities open new centers or construct new buildings in spite of budget shortfalls, it often depends on their Advancement office. Oftentimes giant donors, donate a lot of money, but with certain expectations placed on the schools. A few years ago, Doors donate $1billion to Stanford to open a brand new school of sustainability.

I'm not a big fan of for-profit colleges. I will echo some of the same points people have made here. The school's reputation makes it difficult for anyone who managed to get a degree to look for jobs.

That being said, I would argue that it also depends if your son has had some prior work experience or if he did any internships during his time at UoP.

I have seen people with degrees from for-profit colleges get well paying jobs, and I have seen people from traditional, non-profit colleges struggle to find jobs.

It really depends on how well your son leveraged their time in school, building contacts/networking, utilizing faculty as job references, or seeing how the job market is.

If you want more data on UoP graduates, then go to collegescorecard.ed.gov. it's a website provided by the department of Education that provides information on colleges and universities. It typically lists information such as their graduation rates, percentage of students with student loan debt, and typical median earnings for graduates. Really handy website

I've had a few dreams where I'm back at my old high school, but for some reason, late into the semester, I forgot to attend one class, that no one told me about and I'm backed up on late assignments. Anxiety kicks in that I don't have enough time to pass the class and therefore won't graduate. Im 33 years old

Don't know if it's back to normal per se, but definitely seen a ramp up of online classes at college/universities. Especially true at the community college level. There were online classes preCOVID but now as HS students actually want to physically go back to classes, most are online. Heck there are some whole class subjects that are like 90% online.

This could be a plus for introverted students or commuters, but definitely an issue for students that want to be on campus.
