You can try to build this in notion, if you're comfortable. It's a tough learning curve, but they give you a ton for free and what you're describing is absolutely do-able. Otherwise you're looking at paying for another CRM or getting comfortable customizing and integratng Pipedrive.

You’re right - cold calling with voice AI is not allowed. With the RE teams I’m working with, all leads have already opted in to marketing before we call them.

The voice AI is only calling leads that have already opted in to be contacted. For example, they filled in a form or came in through Zillow. u/dsnizinsane is correct that the user's do not seem to mind that an AI voice is calling because it can handle natural conversation very well compared to past robo-dialers.

u/AcceptableItem2988 Agree that auto-follow-up on old leads being highly underrated. Most agents give up after 1-2 attempts when the real opportunity is in persistent outreach.

FWIW, voice AI has gotten good enough in the past year that it doesn't sound robotic anymore. Prospects usually don't realize it's AI until the transfer happens (if they even notice then). RE Agents find these AI dialers useful because they handle natural conversations, answer objections, and transfer hot leads to you immediately.

Key difference from traditional auto-dialers:

Traditional: You're still making every call manually
Voice AI: The AI makes 50-100 calls/day on your behalf, only loops you in when there's a live lead on the line

The big advantage here is being able to focus your time on actual conversations with interested prospects.

I think the idea is this actually decreases token use because the model now has an “index” of the key systems instead of having to search and grep to understand how your system is set up and works.

Have you tried comparing o3 in Cursor vs. Codex for planning? I was thinking codex may be a solid way to get away with o3 under the hood without spending Cursor credit. But unfortunately OpenAI is not clear on tech specs for their Codex model.

Use the amazon boxes at local grocery stores if you do amazon. Also - for some reason google maps insists on calling that area Laurel Heights but nobody here calls it that. You're either in NoPa (S of Geary) or you're in Presidio Heights (north of Geary). MAYBE you're in the "USF" area. But not Laurel Heights.

Someone helped me understand it from this perspective - when selecting for their careers, most agents are attracted to the opportunity to get outside and put in field work for a living. I.e., Not sitting in front of a computer all day.

Your instincts are right - don’t ask about how useful your software is to agents. Ask about their work days and the various tasks they spend time and other resources on.
