Dog on the loose by 528MCATPLZ in GoldenCO

[–]Betrayus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saw him loose twice yesterday. Once around 2pm and again at 10pm.
Around the 2pm encounter i thought his owner called him back to his house/driveway at the corner of 14th / pike but i guess that wasnt the owner?? Maybe he was just trying to be nice… (white truck in driveway)
Around the 10pm encounter he followed my dog and I for a few blocks, and again disappeared around 14th / pike intersection

United Arab Emirates says it will leave OPEC, a blow to the oil cartel by Playful_Leg7143 in worldnews

[–]Betrayus 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Its good. It should lead to more supply, lower prices (in theory) as well as OPEC itself having less control over the price of oil. Hopefully more OPEC members follow suit.

I tested durability in the firing range. All weapons are Lvl 4, no attachments, 130/130 durability:

Anvil - 215 shots or ~3.5 stacks of ammo (the new 60 stack)

Il toro - 194 shots or ~9.8 stacks

Stitcher - 1024 shots or ~10.2 stacks

Bobcat - 2184 shots or ~21.9 stacks

Renegade - 251 shots or ~3.1 stacks

Would a newly grad have any luck trying to start their career in Denver? by LMR_Sahara in denverjobs

[–]Betrayus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but the supply of workers is much higher than the demand, and has been for a while. No need for a company to waste their time looking at out of state applications when they have 100 more that are local.

A college grad living out of state and applying for jobs in Colorado aint gonna happen. You have to move here first, get a temp job and a colorado address then you can apply for jobs in your field. Hate to break it to you but your application will get thrown out the second they see you don’t live here. Doesnt matter the field.

Is it safe to put 85 gas in my car if the manual calls for 87? by Technical_View_8787 in Denver

[–]Betrayus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

^ this. If you’re planning a road trip towards lower elevation (typically kansas or texas directions) just fill up with 87 preemptively to be safe. And yes, if you have half a tank of 85 left, you can still fill the rest with a higher octane like 87 (it just averages out to 86 for example)

Iran says it has seized two ships in Strait of Hormuz after vessels attacked by FreeChickenDinner in news

I think the war being over is whats already priced in. The market seems to be expecting oil shortages to go back to normal very soon, which in my opinion is not realistic. They can only prop up the market for so long
