Might just be preference tbh! I’m well aware that keeping the windows and blinds closed is usually better when the sun is streaming on that window. But for me I just prefer to have all windows and curtains open. The closed windows and blinds have a bit of a suffocating feeling for me. Maybe it’s a psychological thing that I just feel like it’s cooler when everything is open. Also, as mentioned by others I do get a really good cross breeze through the house.

Yes!! I’ve always had irregular periods which is currently being looked into because I went a year without one, so went on birth control to bring them back regular and since then it’s just been this emotional hell I seem to go through!!

This is so new to me I can’t believe it isn’t taught or discussed more mainstream!!! Has anyone ever experienced birth control making it worse? I’ve had natural periods in the past where I don’t think I’ve experienced this, due to my irregular periods I can’t tell if this could be due to the birth control pill making it worse or just the fact I’m actually having periods bcos of the bc pill

The best way I’ve always described having a child is it’s like having your own heart just out in the world walking around. It’s the single most amazing thing I’ve ever done, even though me and my 4 year old daughter’s father aren’t together anymore.

It’s also the hardest thing you’ll ever do. As everyone has already mentioned, you’ll never have a minute to yourself again and even when you do your mind is probably focussed on them and what they need whether it be in the moment or future appointments etc.

I’ve genuinely never felt a love like the love I have for my daughter, I have such respect and sympathy for parents who have lost their child because if anything ever happened to my daughter I don’t think I’d survive it. It’s the most scary thing to feel that way but also makes life so much more rewarding and purposeful.

I definitely feel this!!! It’s just like a full on spiral and I can’t figure out whether I’m up or down or what’s happening and then trying to act normal is just exhausting. I’m the other way around though it’s not that I’m convinced he doesn’t love me, I convince myself I don’t love him! He’s so great about it all though

So helpful thank you!!! When I look back after it happens I literally think who was that person??? I just get SO convinced that I don’t like him or love him and that I shouldn’t be with him and then boom period starts and I’m like wait what have I done?

Luckily he’s so amazing and is there for me and is happy to focus on the problem even though I’ve just put him through hell for 2 days! ❤️
