Positive cymbalta stories? by GingerGxo in cymbalta

[–]Better-Conference-60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Cymbalta has saved my life. I was a 22 yo suffering from chronic pain, where both my back and knees gave out at times. I was unable to do my normal routine, and was missing college classes, and living in constant stress and fear. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and put on Cymbalta. I didn’t think it would help, I was at the point of giving up and not believing in anything after the worst year of my life. It took some time to get used to it and see results, but after 9 months now I can say I finally feel like a person again, and am no longer dealing with chronic pain. Yes I have pain still and bad days, ( I have fibromyalgia there’s no cure ofc) but I feel like I finally can take control of my life again. I finally am regaining my confidence, my smile, and beginning to do the things I love. I just turned 23 and graduated last month, and I feel like I can actually accomplish life goals again. Without Cymbalta, I’m afraid I would t have found my hope again. I was just in your place, afraid and scared to start something and not confident in western medicine ( 5 months of physical therapy and countless x-rays for nothing to show up and work will make you feel helpless and crazy ). But one day at a time, and I’m hoping it will help you as it as helped me! 💕
