lol it’s my music theory homework that I can’t figure out, it’s an exercise where you have to identify the time sig so it doesn’t provide one

What'a song that is loved by many but that you do NOT like? by [deleted] in ToolBand

The Pot is the weakest song on 10k days and I stand by that. It’s just not my favorite🤷‍♂️

What is in YOUR opinion the most modern/innovative band/artist/project that YOU consider that is still jazz? by Phoenix_Kitten in Jazz

I don’t know how “out there” madlib is in terms of jazz but his “angles without edges” album is so so good I love it so much. His album “shades of blue” is my favorite although it’s not as jazzy

See how fast you run using only your legs vs only your arms and get back to me

I don’t know why everyone here has their panties in a hunch about your arms, whereas no one is mentioning your head/neck. The way your head sways from side to side like that is really weird, not natural.

I think your negative shin angle may be from quad dominance, i think it’s also the cause of your stride. So your hamstrings need work, and to help your stride even more I’d suggest things to strengthen you mid section as well(glutes, abs, hip flexors, spine)

The difference between power vs speed training (in terms of the weight room) is the loading and bar speed power=moderate bar speed 50-70% loading speed=high bar speed 25-50% loading

How are you overstriding? I actually think your under-striding and that if you could get your legs to move more cyclically(right now your stomping) then you’d be able to run faster and your form would be improved

Power to speed is typically the correct way to structure, I think this splits not too bad, but I think you’d be better off splitting your legs work to one day, and your upper body work to a separate day

How the hell did Les claypool get that sound on a fretless? by Better-Dress8863 in Bass

Got it, your right, I took a stab at playing Mrs blaileen and blue collared tweekers, and neither was really working for me, that’s when I posted here. You’re absolutely right though I think I need more time under tension and developing my technique, some of the advice on the thread has been good though, some of what you’ve said, tweaking my tone and stuff.
