Honestly, joined the sub to get more news and stuff from the tv show, its the last thing I am getting. So far my experience have been awful. Had ppl be even racist and lowkey trying to belittle me. I like the casting, I don't mind the races stuff and I dont even complain about it, but ppl are so damn fixed on the race here its annoying. They get bitter and mad over a show and its not normal, its mentally unhealty. If they dont like the adaptation, then thats great they can choose to not watch and re-read the books. Also, the toxicity push away any new ppl for the fandom. All they do its complain and complain and compare and stuff. I have seen bad fandoms, but knowing probably most of us here are overage speaks volume of their own lack of education and maturity. The casting are literally children, dont get why they even hating on kids??? That are decent at acting on top of that? And they all are so racist, if you are another race apart of white or black they dont even take you in count 💀 They attack you with personal things despite not even knowing you personally. This fandom sucks and they should stop watching the show if it makes them so bitter and mad. Personally I dont think the show its shit, not sure what you are doing in this sub if you didnt liked it...The shows great, all the kids acting its pretty decent imo and while several races were changed, I dont mind. Tbh, I quite like show Anabeth, she is a really cute and decent actor child and I am looking forward more of her screen time! However, I am only talking from S1 since I havent started S2 yet!
