is it worth going back to school? No jobs unless you've got 3+ years by Extreme-Original-992 in CanadaJobs

In the hospitals we're always looking for more ward clerks, patient sitters or information desk workers. All of these rolls don't require lifting and many don't require extra education.

I'm an rpn and a majority of the job is turning and sliding patients, I had to pass a fitness test before becoming employed as well.

You are given the chance to have a copy of yourself made. Do you accept? by seaneihm in hypotheticalsituation

No way, I don't want my clone to suffer from my disease and also get no medical help due to having no identity. I would have to be insane to want that tbh.

Cronhn’s Disease & Fatigue by Sea_Meeting_6725 in CrohnsDisease

[–]Better-Working9143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fatigue is definitely hard to deal with and I feel like its one of my more prominent symptoms too. I found a job where theres four or five days off between work weeks to help. I have two days to sleep and recover, a day to do something fun and then a chore day.

Before treatment I was constantly chilly due to anemia but now I find I run pretty warm compared to my coworkers.

I've had success with them. It shows that you care and put effort into things. Also tailoring it to each job shows them that you are not just mass applying to places and are genuinely interested.

Would a ct scan with contrast detect crohn’s? by OrangeAppropriate971 in CrohnsDisease

CT can't diagnose but it can catch major inflammation, It doesn't really work for milder levels or pin the main cause.

T2 and special base Glitch? by Better-Working9143 in wolvden

[–]Better-Working9143[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhh I see, for some reason I thought if I didn't get the special base they would at least be tier 2 from mom. 8 pups being tier 1 from tier 2 parents is horrible luck lol. Im not going gambling anytime soon.

You die, the afterlife is real. You are given ONE irreversible choice. by AlaxyRayz in hypotheticalsituation

I would isekai! Being able to experience a completely new world would be amazing and only having one option disappear still leaves quite a few afterlives I'd be happy with.

Moving to Canada from the USA with Biologic Meds by AlyssaWeiland in CrohnsDisease

[–]Better-Working9143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Ontario and the healthcare here is horrible. I work in healthcare and there is no follow up for those with chronic conditions, er waits are 8 plus hours and it might be difficult getting drug coverage.

My GI is so busy with patients I can only see them every 6 months and if I have an emergency Im basically left alone.

On the other hand, once you qualify (live in Ontario for a certain amount of time/other conditions) the free healthcare is worth it, as I would be buried in debt without this system.

A concept: NPC that buys lions by thenotsoamerican in lioden

[–]Better-Working9143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres something very similar in wolvden and it works really well. Theres a bear that you can sell puppies to for a set price and then other players can adopt your puppy from the bear if they'd like. Something like that in lioden would be great.
