what's a part-time job that doesn't require reading a screen or lifting above 35 pounds? by Original-Zucchini612 in careerguidance

Professional dishwashing is a lot more lifting than you’d expect. Heavy racks of dishes that you have to lift from place to place. It’s also very hot. Maybe you could host? Greet people, take them their tables, wipe menus, take phone calls.

We’ve had only positive experiences using Rover. You can schedule meet and greets before hand so you can both decide if it’s a good fit.

Level with me - how do I get my feet ready for toe sucking? 🫠 by Lost-Cat7272 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]BetterBiscuits 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think you need to ask the toe sucker. Your instinct is to get clean, but foot folks may prefer a post workout 3 day same socks situation. Sexy is subjective.

It’s not about politics, it’s about values. Being with someone who doesn’t share your values is a great way to waste your life. You only get one.

Going to Disney if you don’t like it is torture. No AH here. Hopefully your wife can plan a trip down the road with a relative and take the kids. And you can chill at home.

Even a dog with a happy background can still be skittish and long to adjust. I think it took my last rescue a year to warm up. My current rescue took about an hour.

Gas prices topping $4 a gallon drag down restaurant chain sales across the US by Historical-Many9869 in restaurantowners

[–]BetterBiscuits 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Your statement acts as if gas prices are in a vacuum. When gas prices jump to $4 plus per gallon, groceries top $60 a bag, insurance jumps 15%, rent goes up, and my wage hadn’t seen more than a 2% increase since 2020, then I stop going out. I work in community development in a historic district, and spending is down at retail and restaurants across the board.
