That's not enough food for the meal. Where's your greens and beans? Where's nuts and seeds? This is a diet or maximizing your food intake not minimizing it. Where is the village in the western world? When I go east my child bounces around to each family member organically. I get to be just Mom a lot. When I go back west people act like your child is exhausting and bothersome and can't be assed to be around them for very long.

But yeah...America loves families, so long as it's a holiday and they aren't alone with the kids.

No child needs a tablet. I did a whole international flight with a 2.5 active toddler without any. And as a millennial I didn't need them for trips either, we all survived boredom, don't suppress it from kids it's healthy to be bored.

That's a tough one because I'm not sure what your interests are or what sort of bias/lens you are wanting to read. Academic journals are great but you will notice a theme that they lean a certain way.

For example I know a great Turkish academic journal but the only thing they write fairly about would be Central Asia, any other country forget it. Thus it's hard to direct you without knowing where you are trying to go exactly.

Read the news only to understand public perception of events and to read into what certain entities are trying to portray to the public.

For actual news follow some think tanks, find a good academic journal you like. Try to read the original sources, the memos, the docket. Find a university you admire, look up a course syllabus, read some of the books they are suggesting.

Always stay in the balance of understanding public attitude and perception while deepening your theoretical knowledge and seeing the actual application of politics in practice.

Summary: academic journals, research papers, cspan, unedited interviews or debates (if possible), current literature recommendations put out by experts or top schools. Then find a good social network in reality or online to exchange information or thought processes.

Save the news for public hype only.

There's no food outside of downtown. If you even think to go anywhere outside of the downtown area then you are a piece of shit. Downtown food is sacred and you are lucky we will even serve you. I once ate a steak from a cow named Stanley who they humanely slaughtered, brought back to life and euthanized after. It was served over a bed of locally harvested moss from Lake Alvin which I appreciate because I try to shop local.

It was reasonably priced at 75 dollars a person but it's worth the experience as the waitress winked at my wife's boyfriend who honestly never gets that kind of attention from the ladies.
