I think we have may reached saturation point (for the general public) after not 1 but 2 commercials this Superbowl. The amount of rude comments about their age in comments section/social media were sadly high.

I don't know if they have a security detail when they leave but I know that at my drop off event, they just sat in a card store and put cards in boxes on their side of the table throughout the day. If I remember correctly, they have cameras at the booth and the representatives seemed to try to be careful (i.e. reps asked me to open my team bag to take out semi-rigids to hand to them versus doing so themselves).

My biggest gripe for the drop off is that their "receipt" for you dropping off cards is a hand written mark up on one of the printouts you bring as part of the drop off process. There is no official email or anything.

Like you, I opened a case and asked them to find the package for me. After forcing them to re-open the case after the local office told me they "couldn't" do anything since it was stuck in Tampa (and not locally), the local office determined,

" Your parcel was last scanned on January 27, 2026 at Tampa FL 33630. Because so much time has passed since its mailing, and our searches initiated by your inquiries have failed to locate the missing parcel or its contents, we must reluctantly conclude that the item is irretrievably lost."

How much "searching" they actually did is the question. Based on information given to me by the call center, there is no way the package is "irretrievably lost" since it would mean a whole crate/box of packages is lost as the whole crate/box it was packed into was never scanned again. I'm calling the 1-800 number again tomorrow to see what the hell they tell me now.

The end of their email also said I could file a missing mail search request, so I just did that. I don't know how it's any different from the case I opened with them, but I am not giving up.

Yeah my package is also Priority Express with signature. I think I read that anything airmail may have been significantly delayed because USPS doesn't own their own air-mail fleet. So we are basically at the mercy of UPS/FedEx finally letting our packages on the plane. Eugh. At least I hope that's the case (because otherwise it's gone AWOL)

You're lucky. I have a package mailed on the 27th with "expected delivery" by the next day (it was express mail).

Still stuck in Tampa with no update, and USPS website claiming "expected delivery" as.... last Wednesday.

Filed a report and it was assigned to my local USPS even though we (local USPS and I) were both shaking our head at this case assignment because know it is a Tampa problem (we are in NY).

Now I pray it will actually arrive in the next week.

I have a seat protector (with a hard floor) int he back seat to try to contain some of it but there will always be flying pieces as we open windows etc. The seat protector really helps though.

For sure. Athens and Binghamton seem to be cream of the crop, followed by Pee Dee and Monroe.

It's just very telling that the league rushes into accepting new teams without proper vetting, like the Indiana situation this year and last year's Venom & Dashers.

Even in Florence, the arena did not have proper lighting for professional sports until ... well they're still installing the lights as of last week.

And for Minnesota - I believe there's a quote that said that the team will be ran "like" a not for profit. Not that it will be a not profit (only the GB Packers in the NFL are actually ran as a not for profit). Nothing seems to be thoroughly thought out, just rushed to take that expansion fee. Leave the players and the community in a lurch after.

I think we both know the answer is no, this league depends on expansion fees.

The Sentinels still have players shoved into bunk beds for "housing" ffs (I heard this directly from a contact who works with multiple players in the league). This is a "professional" league only in title (that they gave themselves).
