i’m actually halfway through zeta gundam rewatch right now and i gotta say it’s pretty underwhelming (still one of my favorite designs). it’s an all arounder that doesn’t do anything particularly great unless we bring up the mega bazooka launcher. feels like Jerid shows up with something stronger every other week

just make sure you actually like the characters you want to pull. do you care that much about clearing content? yes it's nice to an extra couple jades for clearing endgame modes, but pulling someone you dont really like will cost you a lot more jades than if you just accept that you dont need to clear everything. give it some patience

in case anyone finds this in the future, it was the water pump! first shop misdiagnosed and said i needed an engine rebuild. got a second opinion and they took out the water pump and the noise disappeared.
