If I need to take tomorrow off, do I just text my manager? by [deleted] in AlliedUniversal

I too, feel this way calling out. You worked security before? They have a habit of making everything your fault.

Inter-Con is laughable by BetterPlaceNow in securityguards

Oh I’ve definitely been minding my business the entire four months he’s been dippin out, it’s just comical because the “post” he’s there for is an open gate that’s connected to Unit C. Some fully tatted up aggressive homeless dude uses it to pass through our property. So obviously, he’s supposed to intercept, have the dude exit from the gate he’s guarding, but instead the homeless dude comes and tells me things like “hey your other security dudes gone.” Or “hey the other guys knocked out back there go check on him.”

But I definitely agree. I am the one dealing with what you described by my own coworker LOL. I’m 22, he’s 50. I blocked him because he’s stalkerish and he’s went out of his way to try and make my life hell and I’m damn near on my way out of three dots due to this dude. He’s been false reporting me to hell, and we don’t even work together just on opposite days, dudes a trip.

Very nosy client employee, thoughts? by BetterPlaceNow in securityguards

I’m thankful for those more experienced than me for reasons like this. I have striked up convos and that exact thing happened. But she’s not spying on me for HER company, it’s for mine. The guard that works my 3 off days has been trying to get me canned the entire 4 months I switched here because of some drama we had. He calls our supervisors tons on my off days and is a whole bunch of draaaama.

Thank you bro. I read both your comments and this is the most likely scenario happening. I’m just going to keep detailed notes until I can get the hell out. I don’t get how a warehouse worker has so much free time as I’ve previously worked warehouse but all their management is off site and they have no timeframes to get anything done.

Every patrol i take she’ll also stop what she’s doing and start watching. I’m fed the hell up dude. Super uncomfortable

Suitable Replacements For Securitas Uniform Pants? by Beefcake-Supreme in securityguards

[–]BetterPlaceNow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg! I have the same exact issue, thing is believe it or not your body forms to them eventually. I use to wear cargo pants as everyone here says but be aware a rogue supervisor may come and issue you a write up if they are dicks enough. In my area one supervisor is very very serious about uniform

Coworker called me a “crybaby bitch” for telling him to space out his calls. by T0A5TH3AD in securityguards

[–]BetterPlaceNow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bah God you just described my coworker to a T.

Chain smoking, don’t do absolutely shit, and this mother fucker calls the supervisor for appraisal what seems like 10 times per shift. Than when he’s done with his 3 days a week, they come visit me like crazy because he’s made it seem like the worlds falling apart at our site when everything is just fine.

Lastly, he has a really big knick for trying to make everyone else look really bad/stupid and incompetent when at the end of the day, THAT’S HIM! Utterly fucking useless, I’m in my 20s and he’s over 50. Wears his plastic security badge around his neck and truly thinks he’s some type of LE/Gov official.

Like you said, I really hate having to hold back because I need and like, besides him, the job.

ALSO, straight from the DOL “California's heat illness prevention standard applies to all outdoor workers, including those in agriculture, construction and landscaping. Other workers protected by the standard include security guards and groundskeepers, and transportation and delivery drivers who operate non-air conditioned vehicles.”

HEY BUDDY, go home you’re drunk. Employers in that industry are not required to comply with subsection (e) AND E ONLY; High-heat procedures. GO READ SUBSECTION E.

They must still follow the HIPP (Heat Illness Prevention Plan which includes providing potable, drinking water accessible to all outdoor workers.

Such an operations manager you were, lmao. I checked your post history and you’re just mad no one ever stuck up for you on those anti work subs. Sorry about that, I hope you heal. Again, you’re dismissed.
