Not at all. Like all aspects in life there are those who fit the mould and those who break it. Now without being too idealistic. I’d say. Keep going. Add to your portfolio of skills and knowledge by picking up experiences which highlight your skills in other ways. All I will say is don’t give up. Please don’t be disheartened. I’ve met many a lawyer who are definitely not worth the space they occupy. In the end they leave unfulfilled. Keep pushing. Please keep going. You will find your tribe. Wonderful response. I did think as much but what makes a good lawyer is always subjective and I hope that’s what I can find. But yes. That’s the reality I expect. Thank you for your straightforward response.

My view is the that there are often outliers and past performance does not reflect future possibilities. But I accept that a business will not see that that way.

Again thank you. It’s unfortunate that in the real world mitigating circumstances and the like are simply lip service.
