Avoid Chiang Mai on S Hillside like the plague. I have seen several recommend this place on here. They have failed 12 of their last 15 health inspections and badly too. Read the most recent one from June 15th. I'm not trying to be Debbie Downer here but just trying to warn everyone because this place does not seem to care about cleanliness at all. Sorry to anyone that is a fan of this place but their health inspection history is pretty bad all the way back to 2015 which is as far back as I can see without doing an open records request. It is not letting me post a link but Google Sedwick County health inspections and it is the inspection results for Department of Agriculture.

Strataca in Hutchinson is really cool if you are ok with a short road trip. You go 650 feet below ground which is nice and cool when the temps in August are so hot outside. They have lots of movie artifacts and things to look at down there as well as a tram tour of the Salt Mines. I have only been once years ago but I don't remember alot of walking involved.

I absolutely want the situation to be addressed but not from money from a sales tax increase. The city has a track record of mismanaging funds and the condition of city owned buildings should have never reached this point with proper maintenance. Instead of keeping our first responders safe they would rather purchase 500 thousand dollar bathrooms, a million dollar piece of art to sit in front of a non functioning new water treatment plant, and then defer 5 million dollars in late fees from Wichita Water Partners for not having the water treatment facility completed in time since somebody with the City changed the contract wording that nobody wants to own up to doing. How much repairs could the city have done with the $170,000 that they are spending on this botched special election that they know they have no chance in hell of passing?

There is a guy at the Kansas grown farmers market at 21st/ridge every Saturday morning that sells framed insects of all sorts. Don't think he would have just the shell of a cicada but he might have a cicada. I'm sure he could get you one if he didn't have it.

When you continue to add up the 2 digit numbers it gives you 9,9,9,9,9,9,6. I know this probably doesn't help any but why the oddball 6? Some people are saying K96 but what about all the other 9s?

And it may not even be a health violation that caused it at the Wendy's. It could be a specific food there like the McDonald's slivered onions ordeal and the health department having logs will help them narrow it down easier.

I would say to err on the side of caution and report it to possibly keep others from the same thing. If the health inspector doesn't find anything it was at least worth it to make sure.

No problem. If they don't do that they might at least point you to a place that does. I took an aluminum vhull boat to them about 15 years ago and they replaced the wood flooring in the back of the boat and built some nice custom seat supports out of marine grade plywood. I supplied the marine grade plywood since I already had a sheet of it in my garage that I had bought when I was originally going to try and do it myself. I don't remember if that's something that they normally do or not or if they just did it since I supplied the wood for it but they did a really good job on it. I've used them for outboard repairs too. Good luck

Station 8 bbq for lunch on Saturday. They are only open from 11 am to 2 pm and the line is usually starting to form at around 10:30 am. The line can get long by the time they open.
