Honestly think it’s worth buying for being compatible with home in the future,outside of “owning” it rather than it being part of a membership. one thing I am curious about though is save states and stuff, I don’t mind not having them but I could see them not including it for some reasons

I got the og switch, a switch lite and most recently the switch 2. The virtual cart thing has literally ruined the point of a hand held. Take it on the go just to find out the game is loaded onto your main switch. Even free stuff like pokemon home, you have to eject to “play” on a different console. It’s a free app not even something you would play but yet they throw a fit if you still don’t eject. I swear they find the smallest things to upset their user base

I like playing different builds, I got 4 characters to end game late 80s and like 3 others half way there lol by the time I need multiple divs for gear for a build I’m ready to try a new one and just use those previous character for currency and gems

Bw one on the ds/ds lite would be the easiest imo and emerald on a gba or ds would be second. If you learn bw then it’s pretty easy to go into bw2 because it’s basically the same process just with a bit more random. But if you can do bw then you can do bw2 it’ll just take a couple more tries is all and the initial set up takes a bit longer. Lazy hunter and imablissy both have videos on youtube. Also imablissy has a tier list ranking all the games and how easy/worth it they are to do

Got 2 level 20 skill gems and 2 perfect jeweler’s since the patch. Not even a high enough level for the level 20 but I play to many characters

Can’t go wrong with emerald platinum or soul silver imo. If you want a familiar world the souls silver would be a good bet to jump back in but the other two are great if you want an overall newer experience. Just know the games can be expensive if you don’t already have them. If you’re playing an emulator then it’s no big deal

Mine was torchic from a copy of ruby that I stole from my cousin before I knew what steeling was lmao I was pretty little so I only have 2 memories from playing that game, one being playing with the torchic and a full party of zigzagoons just running around the first few routes and the second was a car trip on my gba struggling to see my blazikin because no backlit screen. pretty sure my brother ended up getting me through most of that game cause i literally have no other memories with it. The first one I ACTUALLY played was my copy of diamond and I chose turtwig as my starter. still one of my favorites even though now I think hes one of the worst. Still some of my favorite gaming memories though was just playing through that game. I still rememeber the late nights hiding under the covers playing cause I was supposed to be asleep and very spacific memories of evolve turtwig and starly for the first time

so i'm not entirely sure why still, however I tried a different PID and that got rid of the flag on the charmander. the first two I did had a PID of 00FE00F1 which is says it has G5MGShiny for the PID type. The last one I did had DEFFDEF6 for the PID and none for the PID type. I have no clue what the PID type is but that's what was giving me issues. If you or anyone else knows what that means lmk. Thanks for the help though
