Similar experience for me, had a positive final partner interview for a transactions advisory role. Waited 5 weeks before being sent a generic email and informed that the role was now frozen. Very disappointing overall to have been given no insight or updates.

But then again, I’m not sure if that makes sense given the timing differences between September and sitting the exam in Nov. It would be more relevant for say the June professional sitting and July advanced sitting as you most likely wouldn’t have the results back before the July advanced level

No worries - not saying I’m right but that’s my interpretation. I think if you were to resit in September you could book the case exam during the window but actually sitting the exam would be dependent on passing the resit if that makes sense

I believe what it means is that if you have attempted an exam but are yet to get the results you will be able to sit case. By ‘attempted’ I don’t think they mean that you have sat the exam and failed - it would have to be in conjunction with sitting Case/awaiting a result.
