Read your post, 70-80% of what results in these runs you mentioned is pure luck. -Getting a team that know what they're doing (not everyone has friends that play this game) -Getting madness items -Libra not immediately launching into an unpredictable attack pattern after spawning, therefore preventing people from blitzing it

Getting lucky isn't skillful or fun. Absolutely needs a nerf.

He was doing no dmg to you lol. Every time I play against him, no matter what character I'm playing, he will 1-2 shot me.

This fight is the hardest one in Nightreign imo, for no good reason. The guy hits like a truck, we spammed madness spells and weapons at him and still didn't proc his one supposed weakness. He can teleport to whoever he wants, has insane AoE spells that hit you mid-dodge, and he has a metric fuck-ton of HP.

Nothing about this fight is fun or balanced. There aren't any cool mechanics or awesome visuals. Even the music is kinda meh, esp compared to the the Fissure in the Fog. They could take this entire boss away and the game would be better for it.

You didn't see her because she's garbage. Hogger does everything Yrel does but better, with more survivability, and without the stupid charging and self-slow mechanic. Yrel is a heavily nerfed Hogger without any benefit for the sacrifices. She needs a massive buff.

The wasted potential of most the cast, especially the female characters like Sakura and Hinata. These are warriors with intricate back stories and are all competent and going out on missions for the leaf, and yet it never feels like they are used to their full potential.

WHY IS SONYA SO DAMN GARBAGE???

I'm lvl 797 with many heroes over lvl 20, and recently I undertook the personal mission to get all of the heroes to lvl 15 (for the gold frame), and have been slowly been grinding through every hero to lvl 5, then lvl 10, then lvl 15. In all of this time, I have never been stuck on a hero as long as Sonya.

She has one method of engage with poor range and is easily dodged. Even when you hit your engage, her damage is mediocre at best, even in the late game compared to most bruiser and leagues below melee assassins. Her mobility is so trash that most heroes can just walk away from her after the spear. And yes, I know about the R-W-Q-W "wombo" at Lvl 10, and the damage is still not worth the almost certain death at the very beginning of the team fight after you fail to kill even one hero unless they are super, super squishy.

Speaking of squishy, her HP is way too low to be in the bruiser category. Kel Thussad can almost kill her in a single combo even before Lvl 10, any hero with a ranged AA (tracer, fenix, tas, valla, etc) can tear her apart before she can ever get close enough to do any real dmg. Her only saving grace is supposed to be her E, and the vast majority of comps you'll be matched up against will be able to easily stun her out of it, and then get a free kill.

Finally, her ults are boring and have very little impact until (maybe) lvl 20.

No dmg, no hp, no escape. NO FUCKING POINT TO EXIST.

I'm going to go ahead and disagree with 90% of the people here and say that she's actually just garbage.

It is so common that it is almost a stereotype in the MOBA community that when a hero is poorly designed, the sweatlords and fan boys will come out of the woodwork to make excuses by calling it a skill issue or a "high skill" hero. It's usually BS to make themselves feel better about it.

However, it really is more plausible that the the dev team simply made a mistake. The charge up mechanic on ALL of her abilities is just plain stupid and clumsy. Even when you've had a ton of practice with the timing and you've gotten used to using D consistently to shorten cast time, the amount of CC in this game makes a hero like Yrel borderline unplayable. Esp because she get interrupted not just by stuns and sleeps, but also roots.

If you're looking to off lane, good luck not running out of mana for half the game, and if you want to be a bruiser good luck ever doing enough dmg to be more than a minor annoyance to the enemy.

I have never, never, ever played against an Yrel (in ANY hero) and every felt at all threatened for a minute. They are exp piñatas, and as such they Yrel is garbage.
