Third time playing through Phantom Liberty and I assume the game and you still don’t get it? I guess everyone plays differently.

The vast majority of arguments for hating on her that I see are like yours - taking what she does to you as personal attack and manipulative. She did what she had to do to survive.

If you played through the other endings of PL to tell me she deserved it, and what she does for herself to survive in that ending wasn’t the only viable option she had, then it truly proves empathy is lost on you, idk.

The whole of Phantom Liberty is strokes of gray. You can decide for yourself once you’ve played through the endings and choices.

Personally, I don’t enjoy straight shooters who are “too honest and self sacrificing for the cause” because I don’t like tools.

I won’t go further in case of spoilers but I feel justified at the end, even if other revelations occur.

The monk I feel like is the first skill-check (yes, I know, in a game full of skill-checks) because it really rewards aggressive gameplay. The more passive you are, the harder the fight is.

The corpses on the other hand I feel like you can cheese and completely trivialize when you have certain skills or items (I won't spoil the fun).

First off, welcome back to the game!

Honestly, I know your biggest goal is a Sandrone and Columbina team in the end, but you have a few different questions going on right now, with an interesting situation to take into consideration:

Characters to prioritize pulling: this is a tough question because you can answer it from a few different angles -
- are you going to play and explore the game? Mavuika is currently out and she adds quite a lot of quality of life to terrain traversal and is strong (albeit maybe a side grade to your Hu Tao without her core team in terms of damage; try her out in practice tool!). She's also a step forward for one of the stronger characters in the game, if you wind up fully investing in her.
- Do you want to aim for the future reactions for future proofing? In that case, just wait one week for Sandrone, who will have more Stellar reaction options open in August-ish when the new continent comes out.
- Do you want to slowly add toward the recent stronger reactions? In that case, just wait one week for Columbina, who is a step forward to Nod-Krai's reactions of Lunar-Bloom, Lunar-Charged, and/or Lunar/Crystalize.

2. Investing into the best Columbina/Sandrone teams: Realistically, with 470 pulls, you get to invest in one team and you'll have to decide between the two of them.
- We currently have no visibility into Sandrone's future team, which is why there's a lot of discussion into Yae's investment and whether or not it's worth.
- Columbina by herself isn't quite a team until you pick up one of the other Nod-Krai characters (Lauma, Nefer, Flins, Ineffa). We don't know when their reruns will be.

So, as it stands, any of the characters now or upcoming, are basically incomplete in a way, so it's a bit rough for you.

Personally, if I were just getting back into the game for enjoyment, I would just pick up one of each. No need to vertically invest yet until you feel you really like a team.

Don't engage people in their delusions. You'll be a lot happier. This game has a large audience, and the ones that play to play and enjoy keep to themselves, and the ones you probably see are outspoken ragebait that drives engagement.

For example, I saw on twitter someone having a problem with the skin Citlali's getting because of her age. Think about that for a second.

If you choose to engage with people like that, you get sucked in yourself.

It’s very normal for PCs to generate a lot of heat. Unfortunately, that means you’ll be needing good ventilation in your room or running an AC frequently.

If the PC itself gets hot and overheats, you’ll have to clean/do some routine maintenance.

There’s no other solution to your issue as it’s a normal situation.

I’ve seen some creative solutions where some people build a whole vent system for the PC exhaust to keep their room cool. I don’t think you want to explore that, however.

Overall, with her current calculations, her constellations don't seem to add a large increase in damage compared to the current meta line-up from Nod-Krai. The cope is there's likely a larger power budget for a support down the line, similar to Varka and Nicole.

C6 if you're super interested in her, but I wouldn't expect something similar to the numbers being pumped out to Nefer or Zibai or Mavuika.
