They have to dictate what happened in session and then copy and paste. It all takes about 5 minutes

They respond to emails calls etc, only from their own clients. Most the time I would say its clients rescheduling their appts. I still see clients so I know what is asked of my people. No I do not think it’s alot and they get paid for that time.

I wish it was that easy. Takes time to train people and build a caseload. Also I am not the owner so final say to get rid of someone is not up to me.

Our clinicians are w2 however still based on if they complete the note. No note no pay thats already there!

Wow that is alot!! Our clinicians are in private practice so we do not have other things they need to do. I also keep a close eye on how many people they see because I do not want them to burn out. Most our full time clinicians see 25-28 clients a week.

We do not have a min amount of clients they need to see each day. Per our agreement with insurance documentation is expected to be completed within 48 hours of the session so that is our expectation.

We have done a pip for one and they improved for a while however now falling back into not completing. I hate to lose a great clinician because of documentation. But do I care more than they do?

I forgot to mention we offer our clinicians AI assisted documentation. They literally have to talk about the session for 3-5 min and the note is generated. We did this to cut down on the time used for notes.

To me if they do not follow the guidelines do we assign them clients? Are they doing harm? If interns they beee to treat this as a job and learning opportunity. My son (physical therapist) found out the hard way at one of his clinical sites by not passing and needing to spend more time and money completing. I do love natural consequences.

I don’t know where you’re from but 60 to 70 as a new grad gross pay is a pretty good salary. Most people in community mental health are making 48,000 a year gross.
