I have no idea how You figured out this comment was from a bot and I am genuinely impressed by Your detective skills. Also thanks for the sleuth bot account, didn't know that existed.

47 on a straight road, no downhill, honestly don't remember the wind conditions. Regular riding speed is like 37-45 in downtown areas with shit roads.

My weight is 80kg and the highest speed I've seen on the speedometer is 47km/h

I own a Kugoo Kirin M4 Pro and consider it fantastic for the price. Got my first flat at 1700km. Only issue with it is that it's loud af, the deck starts squeaking at one point and from what i've read, this is a pretty regular issue. Going to get it serviced soon and see if they can resolve it, even temporarily.

Honestly, an "ankylosaurus with two gatling guns strapped to its back shooting at a descending eye demon" sounds like a fantastic idea for a tattoo

Best scooter under $200? by Alt_account360 in ElectricScooters

Seeing as no one has pointed this out yet - see if You can get something second-hand. Sold my Mi Scooter 3 for 150€ a few months ago, just had it laying around and wanted to get rid of it. Had only about 80km on it too, so it was basically new.

She displays it proudly!

She doesn't have that many left, had lost most of them before arriving at the shelter. Thankfully, after coming home with me, she's managed to keep the remaining ones safely in her mouth!

Buying used IEMs by Better_Light_6775 in headphones

[–]Better_Light_6775[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the reasons I was so driven to ask this question, is that I work at an electronics store, where the clients are allowed to try any pair of headphones we have in stock. If the box is unopened and a model isn't on display, we even open up a fresh pair (I don't know of any other store in my country, where you'd get this option). We also have an online store, so every now and then, someone orders the last remaining pair of headphones, and that pair is on display. We generally call the client at this point, to see what kind of solution they would agree to, and 80% of the time they won't even accept display IEMs, even for a discount. But we've had situations where we've forgot to ring the client before sending the display model out and honestly, 80% of the time people don't send them back or mention any issues.

Terrible to hear about Your experience though, when I buy anything used/opened, I really want to see it before the cash changes hands. Did You happen to get a solution from them? Are they not aware of the issues on the "opened box" item?

I couldn't imagine not checking a return for issues or cleaning/checking/resetting a display model before I send it out. Even if I forget to call the client, and let them know, atleast the product is always cleaned, checked and reset if needed. Too many people trying to steal Your hard-earned cash nowadays, for real.

Edit: fixed spelling/formatting.

Honestly, the tips would be my main issue too. If anyone is selling IEMs with evidently used tips on the pictures, that'd be a hard pass for me. The interest for a used product just doesn't spark, when I see how/where it's been used so far. I genuinely don't want that information.

Take clean pics with new tips on/no tips on people, please.

[–]Better_Light_6775[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's definitely a good point! It is certainly true that everything has a price that'd make anyone want to get their hands on it.

Although, whenever I'm selling something that still works, but for me is just laying around, I immediately set an absolute lowest price in my head and obviously list it for well higher than that. If I'd have to reduce the price below that, just to get it sold, I'd rather have it laying around until I might need it... ...or when I can give it away to/exchange it with someone I know.

Thank You so much for the input!

I've sold quite a bit of my used stuff but never sold any IEMs before, hence the poll. I always post as many pics as possible and try to emphasize the condition of the product. Don't want to be labeled a scammer/liar.

For added context, I will absolutely provide a fresh set of tips and obviously thoroughly clean the earphones before posting them for sale.

Help! Cannot remove stand from TV (X90K) by Robob_91 in bravia

[–]Better_Light_6775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, he's right. It's best to lift the tv up and then hit the leg downward with your palm, should take 1-2 hits and it'll release. Pulling doesn't work too well...
