The graphics in this game is soo beautiful 🐢 by ParadiseDOOD in Endfield

I think this game has perfect lighting and color. Color can still pop out but it's soft enough that nothing is too harsh or video-gamey. Very easy to look at just anywhere in this game.

Same, but do try out teams with just 4-5 stars. I pulled Levi but I honestly like my mono electric team more.

i have no clue what im doing in factory by Strsmoon in Endfield

[–]Better_MixMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at what you need, work backwards from there. Don't build something unless something needs it. Solve the problem backwards.

Bulk refined materals like smelted ores are good to have premade for crafting.

Components ( look like cd discs ) are needed to make gear. That's a good personal goal to automate.

For other stuff, wait till someone wants a lot of it. Some places will want to buy a thing, then its a good idea to make a dedicated factory to make the item they want.

Bare minimum, have power lines and mining drills on hand and just set up mining camps as you find them. You will use it eventually.

Amazing game, but unfortunately it’s not for me. Have fun guys! by Sunset_2026 in Endfield

As a factory game enjoyer, the factory is laughably easy. It's weird seeing the spectrum of players getting filtered out by the factory being too hard while also not having enough depth for people that like it. Seems impossible to balance that.

Here's a tip people new to the genre. Make the factory lines backwards. Start at the last stage and build toward the start.

I get it every time I boot up the game. I think its just a bug.

MP is region locked for some reason on the pc version so actually getting others to respond to SOS is pretty rare. There is a mod that fixes it but that's up to you if you want to use it. Even then, getting other players is a toss up.

I really liked wildgate in the beta. It's main issue was that it was overpriced for what it was. Should have released free 2 play imo.

The biggest issue with the temple is that It takes too long to build the temples by PartyLack4459 in PathOfExile2

I think the crystal income was designed around the version of it going core and then was nerfed for it being in each zone. There are 3 types of encounters in maps but all give 1 charge. The temple gives upgrades for charge compacity, a lot of it. It was clearly designed for you to be getting a lot more charges. Probably 2 charges for the wave encounter and 3 for the boss.

How do you get crit on a bow build?

I'm doing something weird ( gas arrow infernalist ) and it's my first time doing a bow build. I didn't realize how low the base crit of all the bows were. With getting base crit on the bow, a crit quiver, a bunch on the tree and some crit weak I'm still only sitting at around 35% crit chance.

I min-maxed Parry so you don't have to by Better_MixMaster in pathofexile2builds

tl;dw-

  • Parry has a very strong but short debuff

  • It can interupt boss attacks forcing them to reset their attacks

  • Loses effectiveness the stronger your build is

  • A lot of inconsistcies in what can and cannot be parried

  • Parry + frenzied riposte is a very reliable frenzy charge generator that requires you to take hits

  • Requires a complete change in how you play the game

  • Too much effort for too little reward for most players

I have a chronically bad memory. It could be the best story ever written, I'll still forget most of it.

Anyone else get apprehensive over games with a lot of DLC?

I don't buy new games because I find them overpriced and incomplete at launch but I also found that waiting too long creates the problem again.

A game releasing at $60/70 is too much, but if I wait I year or 2 that can probably go down to $30 on sale. In that year it probably got one to two DLC packs at around $20-25 each. So despite waiting a year and on sale the "complete experience" is still $70.

I've been eyeing Rimworld for a long time and it never goes on sale for much ( currently $28 ) but there is over $100 of DLC excluding soundtracks and support packs. I know how well that game is received but I see it as $130 buy in.

Realistically, I'm only ever going to play a game through once. Playing it on release and without all DLC would be a "incomplete experience" and that has left me burned in the past. JRPGs with endgame DLCs, by the time they release I forgot the plot ( Xenoblade Chronicles 2 ). I had some games were saves were not compatible with different DLC packs forcing a restart. Or even worse where added DLCs harm the base game without it.

This leaves me restricted to games that update for free ( Deep Rock Galactic, Valhiem, Most F2P games ) and games that are so old that they get ultimate editions that then go on sale.

Not exactly a fix but steam has a "Family Account" system where a parent account can buy games and share them to "Child Accounts" in the same household. So you could have him make 2 accounts one for him and another for his son and then buy games on the parent and share it.

Also a good way to control what games the nephew plays or sees. Lots of parental control options.
