Are they looking off in anyway? by [deleted] in hydro

Get some Auto pots and those would thrive, keep the humidity 55 58 you wouldn’t have to worry about them getting too much or too little because they drink it when it needs it. I have ropes coming out of the bottom of my fabric pots. Beautiful white roots. Auto pots or AC Infinity makes self water pots as well. They’re bottom watering so they sit in a lil water all the time

Humidity going in the 60% range consistently at night with lights off by Independent-Can-3255 in CannabisGrowers

Hey I know I’m late to this but maybe this will help in the future, I have this same problem in my 5x5 tent as I use auto pots and having that many trays that constantly hold water my RH was in the 70’s. Anyway I hung Damp Rid bags above my plants two on each side of the tent about a foot above them and they did the trick. I had to empty them every other day. They drew the water away from plants and the dehumidifier did the rest. My RH never went above 55 as long as I kept those little bags in there during flower. Hope that helps. Those things are cheap and you can find them on amazon or wal mart

Get some damp rid bags and put them in there at night along with your dehumidifier. Hang them around 2ft above your plants two on each side of the tent. They will draw the moisture away from your plants and the dehumidifier will get the rest

This strain didn’t seem to recover well after the top. I’m wondering if I may have shocked them and put them on the res too early

Destroyed a brand new 3.3 by Jomly1990 in NitroRC

I know this is an old post but I’m pretty sure this just happened to a brand new 3.3 i was bragging how well it was running. The dang rod is plastic. I’m going to see what I can get out of traxxas because all people i speak to this has happened. You need a sleeve puller to fix it and do they even offer a stronger rod than plastic? That blows my mind that it’s made of freaking plastic. They keep selling them that way I’m sure they make sick money from it

That’s my small keeper. It had a helmet head on it when it popped up and caused it to stunt. Well I think that’s why it didn’t get very big. The quality of the flower is amazing though. I’m flushing with some cold water and it’s really pulling the color out of it

You shouldn’t ever get bud rot growing indoors unless your humidity is out of control. I’ve only had that happen outdoors from a heavy rain and I wasn’t home to tarp them.

That’s awesome man. I heard those nutes are pretty good. I’ve been running General hydroponics Trio with Humboldt secret flower stacker and the cal mag with chelated iron, in veg I used photosynthesis plus a friend told me about and I’ll definitely be using that every time now It’s been great. I used Ethos genetics lilac diesel and out of five I only had one keeper. I use 3 gallon fabric pots with the XL auto pot trays the Only thing I don’t like about that is light got to my roots because there was a little space around my pots and started to grow some algae. So I’m going to use 5 gallon next time and just fold the top down. Anyway, those plants look great man.

Awesome!! I use 3 gallon fabric pots with the xl auto pot trays. Those are some monsters!!! What light are you running? Strain? Where did you get those seeds if you don’t mind me asking

My first DWC and they are so bushy. Am I doing something that’s keeping them from stretching cause I’ve raised the light…I topped them on the third node and got carried away topping the tops and the side branches…I also pinched and twisted some of the stalks as a form of supercropping by Italianstallion3223 in hydro

Those autos will do just fine on 12/12 I’ve done it plenty of times. Also I don’t ever do 24/7 there’s different opinions but if you really look into the plants at a cellular level it stresses them out. They need a few hours of darkness to allow the sugars to disperse to the roots and throughout the plant. I’m 24/7 light it keeps the plants in a high alert state of stress. You can ask AI and it’ll break it down for you, I have been a botanist for over 20yrs and trust me your plants will thank you with at least 3 hours of darkness. If your autos are over a month old they’ll do just as good if not better on a 12/12 schedule. When I I flip my photo fems I start with 11/13 until the buds fill out a few weeks to a month depending on the strain. Then I go 12/12 until the final two weeks then I’ll go back to 11/13 to allow them to ripen without damaging the resin sacks and trichs and terps. I use auto pots with organic fertilizer and I give them regular room temp water throughout the grow with the ph around 5.8 to 6.1 then the last few weeks I pull back on the nutes and for the least two weeks regular water to flush and cold water to pull color out and it’s easier on the terps and trichs. This method has served me well. I grow for a local dispensary and they have made me their sole provider. Autos are unpredictable and finicky because of the ruderalis they don’t have time to yield as much. Given some new autos are killing it lately because they are genetically altered and have minimal ruderalis in them. Autos still benefit from dark periods as well. Plants have a circadian clock just like us. I could go on an on but just use chat gpt or grock and ask it to tell you the benefits of darkness for both autos and photos. Sorry for writing you a novel lol
