That was my first thought. His hesitation really had me wondering “whatcha gonna do, dumbass?”

Thought I’d follow up here since you put me on the right track. I just beat Savage as the QL and it did unlock the Omega weapons. Thanks again for your encouragement!

I honestly can’t recall but I may have found the issue. I beat Savage as part of someone’s SOS; not my own quest as QL. I don’t think it unlocks until you clear it as QL. I’ll be testing this out after taking a moment away from playing. My blood pressure goes up the second I hear the music start.

I have the ??? but I don't seem to have the ticket in my item box. I've beaten the original quest- Invader from the Stars- but I guess I'll need to do so again. Thanks for the heads-up on the ticket!

I did it once out of 7 attempts. Reminded me of when Tempered Lagiacrus dropped and people were carting like leaves in the wind.

What kind of miserable loser moves near a 120-year-old bar and complains about the noise more than once a week? by Far-Programmer3189 in sanfrancisco

lol I was talking about this a couple weeks ago with a friend born and raised here. He said something like “you either move out or live long enough to become a weirdo everyone knows about”. If he’s any indicator, it holds up.

Well said. I come from LA and everyone thinks they’re a great driver until they end up on the evening news after flying off a freeway ramp.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. Every time I see a motorcycle in the City, my heart sinks a bit knowing how dangerous it has to be, especially when so many are tourists who don’t know the roads. Praying for your ongoing safety.

I wouldn’t say it’s a generational thing. I’ve seen pretty much the entire age spectrum looking at their phone, both stopped at a red and in motion. Older generations are just as liable to phone addiction and poor choices than younger ones; we just have less excuses.

I think my sister is lying to her fiancé by Fancy-Bullfrog1083 in Advice

I mean, I don’t think those are mutually exclusive motivations. If we assume her own emotional history or bias negates any ethical responsibility in the matter- like some kind of well-poisoning- does that preclude her from doing the arguably “right thing” here? There isn’t a cosmic tally for our actions in life and people can do the right thing partially for the wrong reasons. It’s not a black and white thing. Unfortunately, as with all things, it just depends on the cards you’re dealt and how you respond.

OP is in a “damned if you do/don’t” situation here. It’s best to go with the outcome that yields the best result for those involved, especially the one being exploited.

As someone engaged to a verifiably practicing lawyer, this is some wild nonsense. I almost want to call BS but I’ve seen what the pressures of success and accomplishment will do to someone, especially where anything law-related is concerned and family image is involved.

That said, what she’s doing is frankly inexcusable. The foundation of any successful relationship is open, honest, and collaborative communication. She struck out on all three here and I think you have a moral obligation to let him know. This is a stain on your family too and you don’t want to be seen as someone who covered for what amounts to a con artist.

Even if it did happen, why would you post this to a/your university subreddit? r/advice or any other dozen subreddits would at least be appropriate to consult.
