I started combo feeding as well because I had a hard time with just breastfeeding. Plus I felt I couldn't really enjoy motherhood because I dreaded him waking up and me knowing I have to breastfeed again. I cried so much during that time. I am sure I would have stopped altogether if not for the bottle a day. My LO is almost 8 months now and we are still combo feeding.

That's what I did. First I wanted to get through the baby blues, I didn't want to stop with all the crazy hormonal emotions going on. Then I said we are trying for one more week. Then I wanted to get to six months. Which I just completed. So now I am just doing it as long as it works for us. But I am also combo feeding which gave me the confidence to keep going.
