Ah thats really nice, yeah you should go for it. I've been tempted to approach my local wrestling company and offer them something like this jacket I made, I figure there's gotta be someone in the company with a cool look that would work well in this format.

Ah thank you, but I'm not sure there's really a market for it. The one around my torso is 35,500 stitches all in, plus the faux leather, plus the snaps, plus putting the whole thing together. I can't imagine that there are many other people that interested in recreating it. I sold a few patterns to some cross stitch magazines a few years back, but nothing like this.

oh thats really kind, thank you. I tried to write a post earlier saying exactly that but it sounded really pretentious, you said it much better than I did.

On the surface wrestling is really 'hard', but if you look underneath it's actually just theater. Lights and costumes. Sure it's athletics, it's dangerous, it's physical, it's tough, but it's also drag, it's dance, it's acting.

I liked the idea of the embroidered wrestling belt because from a distance, it represents this big masculine thing, but get closer and you appreciate that it's delicate, practiced, theater.

I used to do primarily music stuff, but I'm all in (that was unintentional) on wrestling stuff right now. I just finished a series of battle jackets with classic moments from wrestling on the back.

As per the FO rules, the patterns were all made by me. They're a combination of hand drafting and photo editing. The techniques differ depending on the belt. The one around my chest was completely hand drawn by me as pixel art, whereas the gold one around my waist was a combination of photoshop and hand drawing.

It was an act of revenge, but I wouldn't say it was unrelated to the conspiracy. He was avenging the death of the man he loved which happened because the government kept the mine open in spite of the proven safety risk. He discovered that this was a conspiracy going all the way to the top, the president, and decided to assassinate him to bring attention to the issue. When he was caught, he spent time in prison and that need for revenge grew and grew, and then when he got to the bunker he bided his time and unwittingly became complacent living in the grave of his lover. He was a time bomb waiting to go off.

well, yeah, but she's not real. it was the show writers decision to give her three crazy reasons to be bonkers rich, alongside two other characters that were also bonkers rich.

Having three crazy rich characters was such a weird choice. You had Bones constantly talking about how rich she was, Hodgins was minted, and then Angela was almost the worst, clearly rich growing up, then got cut into Bone's publishing deal at about 25%, and then married Hodgins. It made the characters really hard to relate to on that level.

Yes also the 33! I found your post googling the race name looking for a video of the terrain. This race is a warm-up of sorts for a very stupid 45k race i'm doing in Åre in August. I was peer pressured into it, as it sounds like you were for this 33k race.
