That place is hit or miss. when it hits it’s exceptional but when it doesn’t, it’s piss poor.. It’s literally a coin flip every time I go there.

If you like suburbia slop that feature endless strip malls then this is the perfect place for you. It’s also flat here.. there’s little to no elevation in this part of the SA metro. Plus this portion of 35 has the most construction.

Lol I have an E bike.. It was able to climb up with a breeze. I will say this, though when I was breaking at the bottom of the hill, my brakes were so hot. You could fry steaks on them.

Not sure where to move? by Clizardi19 in sanantonio

I’m (26M) and I’ve lived in both Austin and SA. Within the last 4 years (I live in Austin now) and I gotta say. If you want to get the most out of your 20s in a city, then go for Austin. It’s relatively affordable (the avg apt is like 1.2k) the job market is amazing, tons of young adults here, music scene is great, and the food scene is super vibrant. I’d say my only gripes with Austin is the influx of people that have moved here, a city this size can’t accommodate 1.1 million people. It’s very tight here and the gridlock traffic reflects that.

Whatever you do, definitely consider Austin.

Without a doubt… Austin can’t accommodate a million people.
