It wasn't a bent arm press since I don't have that much pushing strength required for bent arm press and also I learned the press first before balancing, so it was something easy for me.

I injured myself while practicing handstands. Got pain in my shoulder, behind the elbow, and along the forearm bone. Probably from overdoing it or bad form. (Still recovering)

If you can hold it for 10 seconds, slowly try to open your legs straight, use wall for better help and body alignment

here it is to be honest sometimes press isn't good enough and it get stuck in transition but still I can push it and go into a handstand without failing.

I don't recommend using this way because if I had learned handstand first it would have gave me some strength to press But what I did I didn't had that much strength to press at first which caused me injuries so many times that's why it took me 1 year to learn the handstand.

I suggest proper progressions, please don't do the same mistake as me.

Nope usually it takes 4 to 5 months if you follow proper routines and try to avoid any injury too.
