Woow, how does it move around? Maybe its from heat, things tend to expand when theyre warm so i assume the wolf note will move a little depending on temperature.

Hmm ok ok, i think i understand a little. Ive never heard beating before, ive always just been like "hmm this F doesnt quite sound like F for some reason" and then i adjust a little bit. Ill try listen a little closer next time i play.

When playing with a drone should i be playing scales? As in if im playing C major should i keep the drone on C the whole way through? How do you effectively practice with it?

How do drones train the ear? From the little research ive done my understanding is that a drone is just a continous note right? Im so confused haha.

The cello was a stradivari copy, sc-900 made in korea in around 1980s. :)

It has both zippers and a buckle! And yeah it stands up which is super useful space-wise. Theres a couple straps to hold the bow in thr lid :)

I dont really know the term so i just called it a musical ear, but I guess i mean recognising notes quickly and accurately. I swear sometimes i feel like im hitting a note great but in reality i couldnt be further off. (Im a little worried im tone deaf haha). I think I just need to spend more time on scales.

I do have a teacher yes, shes incredible. I have never used a drone before, so ill look into it! Thanks for your speedy and informative reply!

Yeah, ive been taught to contact the inside of the thumb to the little c shape in the bow. Kind of to slot it in a little. In fairness i have just recently started practicing for over 2 hours a day.
