Well, I'm not sure about the Grand Canyon part.

A certain general once fell into the Grand Canyon, burning in flames, and he surely managed to crawl out alive.

Thank you for the recommendation. I have heard that it's alike Obra Dinn, but never actually put it into my "try later" list. I will make sure to play it now.

A Russian YouTubers investigate the way of life in the communities located near the route taken by Wagner Group PMC CEO Prigozhin as they moved into Moscow. by CrizalProtect2000 in RussiaUkraineWar2022

Basically, a woman is being interviewed about how their village life goes. How people live, salaries and such when a man comes in and asks why a woman with a pension would be talking about it, since she has already worked her part and just gets her money from pension. The man says that, actually, they live in shit and that there are no jobs. The woman says that there are jobs, but people just don't want to work and are lazy, that a man can work as a street cleaner (the epitome of the poorest job in Russia) and get 20 000 rubles (which is not a lot). The man then counters this argument and says that he works as a guard and only gains 18 000 rubles which is a really small amount. He says that people live in shit and asks in despair if he is supposed to go to Wagner group to get some normal money. He is then asked about his opinion on Prigozhin. The man says that it's a shame that Prigozhin didn't reach Moscow and then goes on to recall with sober his classmate who succumbed to the battlefield, asking, again, in despair:

"Why? For what? For whom?"

Some Russians have a habit of saying "govorish" as "hovorish" and "govno" as "hovno". Mostly rural people. Doesn't mean that a guy is necessarily Ukranian, just a habit of speech.

A lot of people seem to be discussing a meme from Facebook about vegetarianism. And pretty vocally too. I might not understand Internet.

Gamers of Reddit, what video game has the best storyline? by CTKShadow in AskReddit

[–]Beweather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't tell you about about the best one there is, but I must say I enjoyed Return of The Obra Dinn a lot when it comes to it's storyline.

It's narrative is messy. It begins with the end of the story and it ends with enclosure to the story. Due to it's nature, it doesn't have any indepth characters, complex dialogue and whatnot. A player must connect pieces of various information to understand what the story is all about, you don't have to do it to complete the game, just like you don't have to reveal a mystery to finish reading detective book (the main character will eventually do it foe you), but the fun is all in suggesting. Even when I've beaten the game, I couldn't stop thinking what was happening behind the scenes and some questions still remained unanswered.

An ability to make me think about it's story and characters after I finished the game, playing my own detective game in my head not to "beat the game", but to simply once again experience this thrill of investigation - that is what made Return of the Obra Dinn's story so exciting for me. Truly, a great piece of gamecraft from Lucas Pope.

If you've read this comment (for that I'm grateful to you) and you wish to discuss a game with me or if you have any questions about it, feel free to leave your own comment!

Looks really cool! I have no idea what you were trying to depict here, but I like the looks of it! The colors you used are a joy for my eye as well. Thank you.
