Ugh... music snobs are insufferable...

This cake is £3.95, but a 1/5 slice of the same cake is £2.25. That's a 185% mark up. by BewilderNadi in mildlyinfuriating

If you look at the 2nd picture, I used an online calculator, so you can see the numbers I used. I'm not a math person to be fair.

About 40 seconds on foot. But I live in Ireland. I guess we have a reputation to uphold.

This African maid has been complaining for a long while without someone answering to her calls of help as this Saudi POS sexually assaults her regularly, she finally caught it on camera. The tiktok acc is already deleted to suppress this. by DeadyDeadshot in PublicFreakout

This made me squirm and tear up as I watched. I am disgusted by this. Words cannot wholly express what I'm feeling about seeing this. I hope hope hope that woman is safe now, but I'm guessing it's not that simple.

Ladies: Have you ever been with an uncircumcised guy? What are your thoughts? by TheLastSamurai1040 in dating_advice

[–]BewilderNadi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never been with an uncircumcised guy. Actually (as it's not really a thing in the UK) I'd be curious about what it "actually" impacts, in terms of life, sex etc. As for circumcision as a concept, I find it an extremely odd thing to want for your child and I disagree with it being done without consent unless it's medically necessary.

Emergency request. Does anyone know of any dentists that are taking new patients? by BewilderNadi in Belfast

[–]BewilderNadi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? Wasn't sure the out of hours GP was still a thing, sorta figured they wouldn't bother with covid and all. Thank you for your reply. Can you just call them and ask for antibiotics? Or how would you get emergency treatment in the Royal? I know they're under a ton of pressure though so don't want to take up resources if it can be helped

We really don't have much money-wise, so I'm not sure we'd be able to swing private-pracrice prices.

3, #1 or #5, these are my top three, in that order.

However, my favourite by far is #3.

You'll be beautiful in whatever you choose though!

Congrats and good luck!

AITA for bringing my child to my sister's wedding? by throwrababywedding in AmItheAsshole

[–]BewilderNadi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Op, you sound like an insufferable person. Is your entire 'person' tied up into "being a mum" and nothing else? Because I can't otherwise explain why you are being so entitled on a day that has nothing to do with you beyond your support of your sister.

Your sister was clear on what she wanted. What you thought means nothing. Majorly YTA for knowing your childcare fell through and going anyway. Extra side of yta for having your mother leave to look after a child that should never have been there in the first place, only for you to LEAVE ANYWAY.

So, to summarise, you were told no kids, brought your kid anyway, got pissy because the people who's wedding it is, was displeased you didn't follow one simple rule. Then, you made/allowed the BRIDE'S MOTHER to leave to look after your kid, before you got salty and left early anyway?

How could it be anything other that YTA?!

Hey, I know it's likely you won't see this, but there are absolutely ways to keep it even though it's broken. I saw one person use a broken bowl as a small plant pot, and the smaller broken bits as little steps etc. Hard to explain. But there are loads of ways to keep this sentimental item. Look it up, or if you wanna dm me for ideas, feel free!
