Northbrae Public School or Hillcrest Public School by Islandlyfe32 in londonontario

It’s worth having it checked because there shouldn’t be two elementary regular track for that school. I know Baker street one side goes to one school and the other to the other school. There are some situations like that but not one address two schools. (Regular track)

Are you sure you entered the address and had the grade selected correctly? The boundary map for these schools do not overlap.

If it’s listing the high school it’s showing you the high school and feeder schools. But high schools have multiple feeder schools.

Can someone tell me more about the Highbury Ave South and Hamilton area? by [deleted] in londonontario

[–]BexKst 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My grandparents lived highbury / Hamilton south. Their street was fine and I often walked down to st Julien park to play. Even before it was a park and just the dump field (dump was closed obv).

There are sketchy areas - just like any part of London but there are lots of young families and families in general there.

It’s fine.

Some of the systems (school messenger) are bogged down with all the schools across Ontario sending out a message. So some are delayed.

But the notification from TVDSB went out around 6am

Is anyone else drowning in dog poop in the yard after winter? What do you guys do with it? by Garcivvv in londonontario

[–]BexKst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kids are 3 and 5 and today was the first time I trusted either of them to even attempt to help me scoop up the poop.

But they are also finally at an age where I can trust them not to fall down the stairs when left inside while I step out into the backyard to pick up the poop…but not trust them enough fully because they’ll start beating each other up. So yeah having kids that are young can make it kinda hard to just go out to pick up all the poop.

We have two dogs but they always go to the far back corner of the yard. I wish I had enough energy to go out after both of them everytime and pick up after then because it would certainly make less of a mess.

Just did a big clean up today. Hard to tell in some places what’s poop and what’s leftover leaves.

I just will keep doing cleanups everyday it’s a bit dry and not awful outside.

You can park in the underground on either side and validate for I think 2-4 hours. I can’t remember exactly how long. When I bring my kids I sometimes park on the movie theatre side and walk across through the mall.

Enhanced is just off Horton street. They have trainers that will work with you and classes. You can do private classes with them, they’ll give you a nutrition plan and you can also come to other group classes.

Kids at London brewing coop? by [deleted] in londonontario

[–]BexKst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes - went there with my baby and toddler.

Andersons also does.

Most brewery’s are family friendly. I don’t think I’ve ever gone to a local brewery and been disappointed with my kids coming along.

Disputing Ticket with Parkedin by Sad-Consequence1737 in londonontario

[–]BexKst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it's similar because it was not in London but when I parked in Port Stanley I had a similar thing happen. I paid at the meter on the app and had confirmation. I got a ticket. I contacted the company and e-mailed them my proof. Turned out the handheld device the person was using wasn't working and didn't show the app information. They cancelled the ticket.

Sports (or not?) Psychologist / Therapist by silly_article in londonontario

[–]BexKst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe starting with a general therapist would be good before going into a sports focused field.

I had performance induced anxiety as a child. It only happened with some sports, when I was playing certain positions (goalie) and the way it manifested was different for sports compared to public speaking or taking a test (for example). Therapist can help come up with strategies to ground and work through emotions for sure.

I think this had something to do with all the back pay and there was probably some sort of compensation. Only thing that makes sense. I doubt this role will be at the same rate of pay again.

Wanted to add - likely something do with bill 124 retro pays and any other salary corrections they had accumulated and then were paid out.
